    • A method of manufacturing a glass sheet according to the present invention comprises the steps of creating split flows of molten glass in a forming body 10 and causing the molten glass to flow down, subsequently merging the flows at a merging point to form a glass sheet G and causing the glass sheet to flow downward in the vertical direction. In this method of manufacturing a glass sheet, a partition member 20 is disposed facing the glass sheet G in the vicinity of a location below the forming body 10, and a facing surface of the partition member 20 is shaped so as to correspond to a sheet thickness variation of the glass sheet G, so that a gap between the glass sheet G and the partition member 20 is substantially uniform.

    • An LED drive circuit is provided that is connectable to a phase-control light controller and drives an LED load by use of a voltage obtained by rectifying a phase-controlled alternating current voltage inputted from the phase-control light controller. The LED drive circuit includes: a first phase angle detection portion that detects a phase angle in a present cycle; a second phase angle detection portion that detects a phase angle in a cycle preceding the present cycle by at least one cycle; a bias portion that generates a detection signal by adding a predetermined delay time to a phase angle obtained by averaging the phase angle detected by the first phase angle detection portion and the phase angle detected by the second phase angle detection portion; and a drive portion that starts current supply to the LED load at timing based on the detection signal generated by the bias portion.

Provided is a manufacturing method of a GaN single crystal by a hydride vapor phase epitaxy, wherein the hydride vapor phase epitaxy comprises: spraying HCl (hydrogen chloride) onto Ga (gallium) which is heated and fused in a predetermined temperature to generate GaCl (gallium chloride); and forming a GaN thin film by a reaction of the generated GaCl (gallium chloride) with NH3 (ammonia) gas which is hydroxide gas on a substrate, the manufacturing method comprising supplying the NH3 gas in a vicinity of the substrate (for example, at a position which is separated from the substrate by a distance of 0.7-4.0 times as longer than a diameter of the substrate) through a nozzle. Further, as the substrate, an NGO(011) substrate in which the lattice constant thereof is similar to that of GaN is used.

    • An LED drive circuit is provided that can be connected to an alternating current power source via a phase-control light controller and drives an LED load. The LED drive circuit includes: a switching power source portion having a switching element, a switching current detection portion that detects a switching current, and an LED current detection portion that detects an LED current; a first subtraction portion that subtracts a given value from an output of the switching current detection portion; a first determination portion that determines, through computation on a plurality of externally inputted voltages, a target value to which the switching current is limited; a second subtraction portion that subtracts a given value from an output of the LED current detection portion; a second determination portion that determines, through computation on a plurality of externally inputted voltages, a target value of the LED current; a switching current limitation portion that, if a result of the subtraction by the first subtraction portion exceeds a result of the determination by the first determination portion, switches off the switching element so as to limit the switching current; and an LED current control portion that drives the switching element to control the LED current so that a result of the subtraction by the second subtraction portion coincides with a result of the determination by the second determination portion.
