摘要： A shutter device of an imaging apparatus according to the present invention is interposed between an objective lens and a first lens barrel. An opening and closing unit for moving a shutter blade and an aperture blade to an open or closed position is disposed on a first side of or in the vicinity of an imaginary line extending in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the lens. The surface area of the shutter device on a second side of the imaginary line is smaller than the surface area of the first side. Actuators for moving the lens barrel along the optical axis are disposed in the vicinity of the second side of the shutter device. In this way, the length of the shutter device in the optical axis direction becomes short.
