摘要： 188,294. Colman, T. B. Oct. 28, 1921. Revolving doors.-In a revolving door having automatically collapsable wings, a notched disc 1 on the central supporting shaft 1 of the door, is engaged by spring-controlled latches 4 provided with spring-pressed bolts for holding the wings in their radial positions. The latches 4 turn about pivot pins 5 carried by fittings 6 secured to the top of the wings. Each latch carries a spring- pressed bolt 10 which is normally held by a spring 11 in its lowermost position where it engages a recess in the top face of the member 6. During movement of the door in either direction, a coiled spring 8 surrounding the pivot pin 5 is compressed by means of a projection 7 on the latchmember sliding in a slot in an abutment for the spring. When the wings are folded, the latches assume the dotted position shown in Fig. 2, the wings themselves turning about pivots 11 on plate hinges of the type described in Specification 22552/10.

Anchors.-An anchor is constructed with a hollow shank 5 having at each end folding flukes 9, 11, and a sliding and rotating stem 14 provided with flukes 15. The sliding stem 14 is passed through a perforation in the spindle 8 of the flukes 9 to hold them in position. The movement of the flukes 11 is limited by shoulders 12 on a T-head 7. The stem is held in its two positions by means of a key 16 which engages one of the slots 17 or 18, the latter when the anchor is extended, and the former when the anchor is folded.
