    • An information processing device includes: an information acquisition process control unit for selecting an information piece to be selected and sending an instruction to a communication unit; the communication unit for transmitting an information acquisition request to other information processing device connected via a network, and acquiring information from the other information processing device according to the instruction; and a storage unit storing a display amount information indicating the amount of display information which can be displayed on a display unit at once. The information acquisition process control unit instructs the communication unit to acquire more information than the amount indicated by the display amount information.     • The digital broadcasting receiver has: a station-select control section including a station-select receiver input unit, a station-select-process control unit, and a station select information presuming unit; a transport stream (TS) information-capture unit; a decode control unit; and a data-storing unit. In response to a request for selecting a station from a user, the station-select control section sets station select information in the TS information-capture unit. In the data-storing unit, a station-select managing table is prepared, and station select information received after selecting a station is stored in the station-select managing table. The station select information contains a program title datum and more than one packet identifier. In response to the action of selecting a station by a user, the station-select control section reads out more than one packet identifier from the station-select managing table, and sets them in the TS information-capture unit as station select information.

    • An idling speed feedback control method for use with an internal combustion engine having electrical load equipment and a generator for supplying electric power to the electrical load equipment, the generator being driving by the engine. The idling speed feedback control amount is effected as a function of the difference between an actual engine speed and a target idling speed. The method comprises the steps of detecting a generating state signal as a function of the field coil current of the generator which represents the generating state of the generator; detecting the actual engine speed; determining an electrical load correction value during a time period starting at or before the time when the electrical load correction value changes and ending at the time at or after the electrical load correction value changes. The electrical load correction value is then modified in accordance with the magnitude of the change and the idling speed feedback control is corrected as a function of the modified electrical load correction value.

    • A running performance control apparatus suitable for use in an electric vehicle, which is capable of restricting the running performance of the vehicle when the capacity of a battery of the vehicle is reduced to the preset residual capacity. The battery capacity reduced to the preset residual capacity is detected and a vehicle running state including the speed of a running vehicle and the acceleration of the vehicle, is detected. An operating state, including shift positions of a transmission of the vehicle and the degree of opening of a vehicle accelerator is detected. If the answer is determined to be Yes, then information indicative of the contents of a desired restriction datum of the running performance can be read from a storing device storing a plurality of restriction data each used to restrict the running performance of the vehicle on the basis of information indicative of the running state detected by a running state detecting device, and of information indicative of the operating state detected by an operating state detecting device, thereby making it possible to restrict the running performance of the vehicle.

    • When the engine RPM falls below a lower limit of a target RPM of idling while an engine is in an idle operation, a control valve is shifted to the open-loop control mode instead of the conventional feedback control mode so as to enable the engine RPM range to be quickly increased up to within the target RPM of idling rotations. Said control valve is disposed in a bypass which communicates with the upstream side and the downstream side of the throttle valve in intake passage to adjust the volume of an inspired air. The solenoid current command (amount of control) for adjusting the opening degree of the control valve during the period of the open-loop control mode is set at a level higher than that immediately before the feedback control mode shifts to the open-loop control mode.
