摘要： The device locks via fixtures of a hand-lever (3) defined end positions (On or To). There is a plug sleeve-hexagonal bolt beneath the hand-lever via a threaded sleeve and set with a define height. The sleeve retains its function as a plug sleeve bolt and crosses over as a cylindrical body with a guide function beneath the hand-lever's stop lever (1). The defined height gives rise to a free space (hub) (9) about stop lever that has a guide-bore (11) and can be induced. The stop lever is connected below the hand-lever on its end, whilst the front end of the stop lever has a bearing projection that is on the level opposite the bearing projection of the hand-lever. There is a bearing of a body fitting (8) clamped in the free space between both bearing projections and is used to hinder the movement of the lever system.

The input channel (10) is angled at about 15 deg. to the motor shaft and at about 30 deg. to the vertical.The motor shaft is in a shell (18) in the head wall (3). It can be set in different axial positions, and is soundproofed. The drawer (6) is sealed to the casing by a seal (15) running part of the way round it.

This device is improved in the respect that the required pickling brine can be injected quickly, and uniformly distributed as far as possible without losses. This is achieved by a special construction for controlling the inflow of the pickling brine from a hollow space between the hollow bodies of the needle cylinders and a stationary tube for feeding the pickling brine to the holes of the needles. The control is constructed so that only those needles which happen to penetrate into a piece of meat are connected to the hollow body which is filled with pickling brine under pressure.

摘要： A machine for the salting of pieces of meat consists of a conveyor which feeds the meat in the horizontal gap of two pairs of needle rollers. Two are mounted on a spring-loaded bracket on each side of the gap. The hubs carrying the follow needles revolve on a stationary hollow spindle which supplies the brine into the gap between hub bore and spindle. A flat on the spindle allows the needle bore to be uncovered only when the needles have penetrated the meat.. This results in a quick and uniform injection of brine which requires no vacuum. Loss of brine is eliminated and the meat cannot adhere to the needles.
