    • An electrical connection box is provided with a case which accommodates a circuit board on the interior thereof. The case has a connector provided with a synthetic resin section on which a terminal fitting connected to the circuit board is arranged. The synthetic resin section has a hood section with which a partner connector is engaged, a surrounding wall which is provided on the periphery of the hood section and forms a cavity between the surrounding wall and hood section, a locking section provided on the inner wall of the hood section, and a reinforcing rib which is provided on an area of the hood section corresponding to the locking section.

    • In a connector (23), a substantially L-shaped terminal fitting (21) is mounted in a connector housing (25). The terminal fitting (21) includes a first projecting portion (39) projecting backward from a back wall (38) of a receptacle (27) and a second projecting portion (41) bent downward substantially at a right angle from an end of the first projecting portion (39) and to be connected to a circuit board (14). The connector housing (25) is integrally formed with a protection wall (42) extending backward from the back wall (38) of the receptacle (27) and configured to cover the first and second projecting portions (39, 41) from an upper side, opposite lateral sides and a rear side with clearances formed between the protection wall (42) and both the first and second projecting portions (39, 41).

An electrical junction box 10 comprises a circuit casing 30 and a circuit board 20 contained in the circuit casing. The circuit casing includes two cover bodies 31 and 51, which are opposite each other and include base plate sections 32 and 52 and peripheral walls 41 and 61 provided on the base plate sections. Portions of the peripheral walls 41 and 61 are cut off to define drainage apertures 45 and 65, which is oriented downwards. Bus bars B to be electrically connected to electrical conductive paths on the circuit board 20 are insert-molded in connectors 110 to 160 and arranged downward. Contacting portion K between the peripheral walls 41 and 61 is sealed through the entire periphery with the exception of the drainage aperture 45.
