    • A method for preparing a butanone derivative of formula (I), wherein Ar is an aryl grouping optionally mono- or polysubstituted by C1-6 alk, C1-6 alkoxy, methylenedioxy or OH radicals, R1 is a hydrogen atom or, taken together with R2, a C-O bond, R2 is a hydrogen atom or R2 and R1 together are a C-O bond, and R3 is C1-6 alk.
