    • A control device for an electric injection molding machine designed to advance and retract a screw in a heating cylinder by an injection motor includes a screw position detector for detecting a screw position to output a screw position detection signal, a speed pattern generator for generating a speed setting pattern signal which indicates relationship between time and screw speed. An integration unit integrates the speed setting pattern signal to obtain a moving stroke of the screw. And a generation unit generates a position instruction signal on the basis of the moving stroke and a screw position when injection is initiated. To generate a speed instruction signal, the screw position detection signal is subtracted from the position instruction signal as a manipulated variable of feedback and the speed setting pattern signal is applied to the position instruction signal as a manipulated variable of feed forward. Thus, accuracy at the speed changing positions can be improved, thus improving operability.

    • The invention provides a welding system capable of freely controlling the dispersion and concentration of arc heat over the groove face with an extreamly narrow gap and a high strength and high quality welded joint structure which is formed by this welding system and which is capable of preventing softening/hardening of the structure, the lowering of the toughness thereof and the generation of a crack. According to the welding system, the melting rate of a welding wire is controlled relative to the welding wire feeding rate by changing the characteristic of an arc current so that the range of behavior and the transfer rate of the arc pole (the arc generating main point at a groove surface) are controlled. Further, the welded joint structure consists of a high strength steel having a superfine grain structure with a carbon equivalent of as low as less than 0.38 and a crystal grain size of less than 7 μm and is welded by a consumable electrode type arc welding method so as to control the arc heat distribution on the groove face of the joint.

    • A pressure feedback system for limiting pressure and a minor feedback system connected to the pressure feedback system are used as a speed feedback system for controlling an injection speed. Consequently, the injection speed is controlled on the basis of an injection speed setting signal using the minor feedback system, and a filling pressure is controlled on the basis of a limit pressure setting signal using the pressure feedback system for limiting pressure. Also, a switch for selectively activating the pressure feedback system and a comparator for comparing the limit pressure setting signal with a filling pressure detection signal are provided within the pressure feedback system. The switch activates the pressure feedback system when the filling pressure detection signal is equal to or larger than the limit pressure setting signal. A normal injection speed control operation is performed until the switch activates the pressure feedback system. After the connection of the switch, a control operation in which the filling pressure is limited is performed until the dwelling process begins.
