    • An image display system includes an image display device and an image information processing device. The image display device includes a display side input section receiving a plurality of pieces of image information and cursor position information, an image combining/displaying section for displaying a composite image of the plurality of pieces of image information, and a cursor display section for displaying a cursor based on the cursor position information. The image information processing device includes an output section for outputting the image information and the cursor position information, a processing side input section for receiving input of composite image information, and a cursor position information processing section selecting either of a first cursor correspondence process corresponding to the image information sent to the image display device and a second cursor correspondence process corresponding to the composite image information and then performing the cursor correspondence process thus selected.

    • Change image detecting devices and methods are disclosed. In one example, a determination unit partially compares a first image and a reference image and determines whether there is a change therebetween. If the determination unit determines no change between the first image and the reference image, the change image detecting unit selects a second image, which is temporally later than the first image and stored in a first storing unit, as a new image to be processed and the determination unit partially compares the second image and the reference image at a different position than previously compared and determines whether there is a change between the second image and the reference image. If the determination unit determines change between the first image and the reference image, a change image detecting unit detects the first image stored in the first storing unit as the change image, and stores the first image in the second storing unit.

    • Two sets of TACs are simultaneously operated by a start pulse, one set of TACs using a photoelectron pulse due to an excited light from a sample as a stop pulse, and the other set of TACs using a photoelectron pulse due to a fluorescence from the sample as a stop pulse. Each TAC outputs a voltage proportional to the time from the start of action to the receiving of the stop pulse and an excitation light shape and a luminescence transient shape are simultaneously measured on the basis of output voltages from the TACs. A variable offset voltage is added to an output of at least one of the two sets of TACs and the excitation light shape and the luminescence transient shape are displayed on a two-picture synthetic display.
