    • Known measurement circuits - in the case of high accuracy requirements, mostly in the form of carrier-frequency measurement bridges - for producing measurement signals from the changes, dependent on the measured quantities, of capacitive, inductive or ohmic impedances of passive receivers all have the disadvantage that the measurement signals which they output are not strictly shifted by +/- pi /2 or by 0 with respect to the supply voltage phase, because parasitic active impedances (losses) or reactive impedances and line capacitances lead in complex ways to phase rotations. Downstream signal evaluation is then, even in the case of high-performance phase selectivity, no longer able to make a clear-cut distinction between useful and interference changes in the receiver signals. The features according to the invention are intended to avoid these disadvantages. Evaluation of the short-circuit current signal instead of the open-circuit signal in the case of preferably capacitive and ohmic sensor bridge circuits, in conjunction with symmetrical secondary windings of a voltage converter, as well as, in the case of preferably inductive sensor bridge circuits, supplying each sensor partial impedance via an individual current converter, primary-side series connection of these current converters and evaluation of the difference in the voltage drops across the associated lossy inductive sensor partial impedances.
