摘要： A variable reflector device, comprising a reflector (6) arranged to direct light from a light source (7) and a casing (5) containing the reflector (6), a portion of said casing (5) being transparent to light directed by the reflector (6). The reflector (6) is formed by a meniscus (2) at an interface between two immiscible fluids (3,4) contained in said casing (5). According to this design, the spatial distribution of light from the light source is changeable by changing the shape of the meniscus between the two fluids. Since a change in shape of the meniscus is effected by a displacement of fluids rather than of mechanical parts, the change in reflector shape can generally be performed faster and with less energy consumption than is the case with previously known designs. Further, a meniscus between two immiscible fluids can, due to the nature of fluids, take on several different shapes, which is not the case when a solid body reflector is utilised.

摘要： An illumination system has a plurality of light emitters (R5G5B), a first light- collimator (1) for collimating light emitted by the light emitters, and at least a second light- collimator (2) for collimating light emitted by the light emitters. The first light-collimator is arranged around a longitudinal axis (25) of the illumination system, and the second light- collimator is being arranged around the first light-collimator along the longitudinal axis. Light propagation in the first light-collimator is based on total internal reflection. Light propagation in the second light-collimator is based on total internal reflection or on reflection at an outer surface of the second light-collimator facing away from the longitudinal axis. A cavity (3) is provided between the first and the second light-collimator. The cavity is provided with a switchable optical element based on electrowetting, wherein the switchable optical element is switchable in a mode of operation reducing the effect of the second light- collimator.

摘要： The present invention relates to a color variable light-emitting device comprising an array of a plurality of LEDs formed on one highly resistive substrate, which array comprises a first, a second and a third set of at least one LED arranged to provide light of a first, a second and a third color, respectively. At least one of the sets is independently addressable. Further, each light-emitting diode in the array has a separate connection to a circuitry, and at least one of the sets comprises at least two LEDs, interconnected in series via the circuitry. Thus, all connections between separate LEDs, for example in the same set, can be done via the circuitry. This also allows for a very dense packing of the LEDs in the array, as no interconnects between different LEDs of the array need to be arranged in the array.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device (200) for electrically controlling shaping of a light beam. The device comprises primary optics (202) that is arranged to shape the light beam originating from a light source (201). The device further comprises an electrically controllable optical element (203) arranged to change the direction of the light falling onto it, when the element is in a light-redirecting mode. The optical element can be an electrically controllable scattering element e.g. created by using a PDLC material or an LC gel. The degree of light redirection of the optical element is controlled by applying an electric field to the LC material. 摘要： The invention provides an illumination device comprising a light source (100) and a transmissive arrangement (200). The light source is arranged to generate light source light and comprises a light emitting device (LED) (110), arranged to generate LED light and a carrier (120) comprising a first luminescent material (130). The carrier is in contact with the LED and the first luminescent material (130) is arranged to convert at least part of the LED light into first luminescent material light. The transmissive arrangement of a second luminescent material is arranged remote from the light source and is arranged to convert at least part of the LED light or at least part of the first luminescent material light and/or at least part of the LED light. The invention overcomes current limitations of remote luminescent material systems in spot lighting. In addition, an extremely simple way of realizing light sources with various correlated colour temperatures is allowed, based on just a single type of white (or whitish) light source in combination with various (red-orange) remote luminescent materials.
