摘要： A laminated structure has a first solid layer 1 and a second porous or lattice structure layer 3, which may be a metal foam both layers are created using additive layer machining (ALM) / 3D printing. A second solid layer 4, which may be a ceramic material may be heat sprayed or bonded onto the porous structure. A series of cooling channels (Fig 2, 2) may be provided and may be formed using ALM. The ALM material has been designed to have minimum weight whilst still maintaining the required tensile and bonding properties in high temperature propulsion environments. In use cooling fluid may pass through the porous lattice structure and may exit the ceramic structure via a plurality of holes (Figure 2, 2)

Class 46 [Also in Groups IX and XXVIII] A filter fabric is tightly woven entirely from a synthetic hydrophobic, or metallic, continuous filament plied or singles yarn, each yarn being of from 30 to 200 denier and comprising a plurality of filaments twisted so that there are from 40 to 4 turns per inch in the above denier range, the twist varying inversely as the denier. Preferred yarns are: 1200 denier with a twist of 6 turns per inch, and 30 denier with a twist of 35 turns per inch. The preferred synthetic material is nylon, and the preferred metal, stainless steel. Other synthetic materials are copolymers of vinyl chloride and acrylonitrile; of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate; polymers of vinylidene chloride; .of tetrafluoroethylene; and of acrylonitrile. Figs 6 and 3 show a typical yarn in elevation and cross-section respectively. The cloth 12 may be wrapped around a wide screen or open mesh cloth 11, Fig. 7, supported by fins 10 around a slotted outlet tube 8, the cloth being secured in place at intervals by screws 14 engaging a bar 13 secured to the tube 8. The cloth has preferably a tight sateen weave with the warp side towards the contaminated liquid.

摘要： The present invention is a manual non-mechanized device that consists of a base and a guide. This invention is a device that provides an expeditious method to invert or turn inside-out and to reform or turn glove appendages back to the proper side, that has numerous openings, one of which accepts a guide. The guide is defined as an asymmetrical cylinder having two (2) opposing ends. One end has a concave configuration and above and adjacent to the other end are a couple of grooves that circumscribe the guide with a couple of flexible elements fitted therein. The latter end is fitted into one of the openings in the base, to be securely mounted therein without using threaded means. The present invention facilitates efficient cleaning and/or rapid drying of the lining and quick reformation to the proper side with a proper fit. The main objective of the present invention is to promote healthy, morbidity free hands in the workplace and at home.

摘要： This invention relates to methods for improving changing the quality of the meibum composition of the meibomian glands to enhance or improve the lipid layer of the tear and increase tear breakup time by way of elevating the omega-3 index in patients suffering from symptoms of dry eye, posterior blepharitis, and/or meibomian gland dysfunction. The methods comprise administering a supplementation of omega-3 fatty acids to a patient having an inflamed meibomian gland so as to facilitate an increase in the amount of omega-3's acting as an anti-inflammatory and, respectively, decrease the amount of omega-6′s (arachidonic acid) acting as an inflammatory in the composition of the meibum, thereby normalizing the lipid layer of the tear and effectively reducing the associated symptoms. In certain embodiments, the supplementation of omega-3's comprises the esterified or re-esterified triglyceride form.

摘要： A system is disclosed for integrating electronic mail, voice mail, and fax mail in a universal mailbox. Message receivers may access their messages with a telephone or a computer regardless of the communication medium used by the message sender. Using a telephone, message receivers may playback voice mail, redirect fax mail, and “listen” to e-mail through a text-to-speech conversion process. Using a computer and modem, message receivers may playback voice mail, view fax mail, and read e-mail by accessing the universal mailbox via connection software. Message senders and receivers may choose from a variety of filter and forward options that allow them to manage their communications via the universal mailbox. Forwarding and conversion of messages is performed automatically. The options are used to define a set of rules to be applied to inbound and outbound messages so that messages are sent and received in accordance with the preferences of the senders and receivers.
