    • The invention provides a valve (10) for automatically controlling the flow of fluid in response to changes in the temperature of the fluid. The valve (10) includes a valve housing (12) defining a passage (14) for fluid flow through the valve (10) from a valve inlet (16) to a valve outlet (18), and a valve closure (28) which is movable between a closed condition in which it prevents fluid flow through the valve passage (14) and an open condition in which it allows fluid flow through the valve passage (14). The valve closure (28) includes a deformable member which is responsive to changes in the temperature of fluid within the valve so as to deform automatically upon a predetermined change in the fluid temperature from a first position in which the valve closure (28) is in the closed condition to a second position in which the valve closure (28) is in the open condition.

    • The invention relates to an expansible rock bolt (60). The bolt includes an elongated hollow shaft (12) having an insertion end (14) for insertion into a drill hole, and a projection end (16) for projection from the drill hole. The ends of the shaft are closed. The shaft is constructed to be radially deformable under internal pressure along at least part of its length from an inoperative unexpanded condition, into an operative expanded condition. The bolt also includes a fluid inlet (22) for permitting introduction of fluid under pressure into an interior (24) of the shaft, for placing the shaft under internal pressure radially to deform the shaft into its operative expanded condition. At least one external seal (34) is located at or adjacent the projection end of the shaft for sealingly engaging a filler head used to introduce fluid under pressure into the interior of the shaft via the fluid inlet.

The pump (118) also includes an inlet valve (144) for allowing liquid fuel to be drawn into the cylinder (140) from the reservoir (116), an outlet valve (146) for allowing liquid fuel to be pumped out of the cylinder (140) to the burner head (114), and a displaceable mass which due to its weight applies sufficient force to cause displacement of the piston (142) relative to the cylinder (140) in the second direction, thereby to pump liquid fuel out of the cylinder (140) to the burner head (114).
