      SOLUTION: The fastener feeder is provided with a freely swingable gate part 30 covering a tape-guide part so as to be opened and a tape feed part 31 to feed a fastener binding tape so that the fastener is fed one by one to a driving chamber. In the tape guide part and the gate part, a flat tape guide groove for passing through an edge part of the flat tape and a coil tape guide groove guiding a coil tape having a U-shaped cross section are formed. In the gate part 30, a flat tape feed claw 38 engaged with a feed notch of the edge part of the flat tape housed in the flat tape guide groove and feeding the flat tape and a coil tape feed claw 39 engaged with a feed hole in a base part of the coil tape housed in the coil tape guide groove and feeding the coil tape are provided. The flat tape feed claw and the coil tape feed claw are driven by a piston cylinder device 33.
