摘要： The present invention provides a synergistic composition of a nematicide comprising of a nematicidal peptide, and chalcones, wherein the nematicidal peptide is derived from CED-4 protein sequence is either, Peptide 2, or Peptide 3, or Peptide 12; and chalcones are either chalcone 17, chalcone 25, or chalcone 30. The nematicidal peptides alone show 100 % nematicidal activity at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, whereas, when combined with chalcones, 100 % nematicidal activity is seen at concentration as low as 0.8 mg/ml binging a synergistic effect. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method for preparing working solutions of chalcones in aqueous solvents such as water by diluting the stock solution of chalcones, prepared in dimethyl sulfoxide, serially in ethanol and water. The final concentration of chalcone is around 10 -4 -10 -5 M in the nematicidal composition. This synergistic nematicidal composition is environmentally safe and non-toxic to humans and animals.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for automatic segregation of working and non-working parts from waste printed circuit boards or electronic waste with minimal or no manual efforts. The apparatus comprises a component segregation section and a chip separation section, contiguous to segregation section to segregate the components in various stages depending upon their functionality, nature and reusability. The apparatus takes in the bulk waste product as feed; the entry of the same is sensed by the sensors provided on the conveyor belt and that initiates the segregation process. The components from the waste product then undergo a number of stages wherein all necessary steps are taken like, size sorting, metallic parts sorting, reusable parts sorting. The automatic segregation according to the present invention is based upon the principles of size sorting, metals sorting and chip sorting.

摘要： The present invention relates to an improved process and method of recovering metals of value from used Lithium batteries (hereinafter LiBs). More particularly, the invention provides a method for recovering cobalt, lithium, manganese along with other metals of value from used LiBs rich in manganese content. The method includes combination of chemical and physical processes for separation, limiting the use of chemical for removing minor impurities. The invention provides for a cost effective, economic and environmental friendly process for recovering metals of value. The method comprises the following major steps of wet shredding, filtration followed by electrolysis in preferred conditions, density and magnetic separation procedures. The purity of metals obtained by using the proposed process is more than 99%.
