    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld scanning system which can precisely output a trigger signal even if moving speed of the scanning system is not constant and is not affected by moving speed of the scanning system and to provide an operation method of the system.SOLUTION: The scanning system forms a mapping relation between a plurality of reference amplitude values and sampling positions by constructing a reference table. An analog signal is converted into a digital signal by using an analog/digital converter. The digital signal shows the plurality of sampling positions of a moving distance, a plurality of scanning amplitude values of signal strength and respective mapping relations. In a scanning stage, the sampling positions corresponding to a preceding scanning amplitude value and a present scanning amplitude value are determined in accordance with the reference table. Thus, the handheld scanning system is detected to be a position fluctuation state or not. Thus, the trigger signal is determined to be outputted or not.
