    • PURPOSE: To reduce cost in manufacturing cheese from milk for cheese manufacture, by preliminarily separating cream in a first section of a separating room from unpurified milk supplied into a centrifugal separator, separating bacteria and contamination particles while flowing the milk into a second section inward in the radial direction, and discharging by a scraping member. CONSTITUTION: In a lower section 12 of a separation room 5 of this centrifugal separator, cream of milk is preliminarily separated until the fat rate of unpurified milk reaches a prescribed value. That is, the fat rate of the unpurified milk is about 4% and is reduced down to about 3.5 %. The separated cream is scraped up by a scraping member 19 in the lower side and discharged through a pipe piece 20. The standardized milk reaches the inside of an upper section 13 of a separation plate 11 from the lower section 12 through an elevating passage 14. Then bacteria and contamination particles are removed from the milk flowing inward in the radial direction in gaps between individual separation plates, and sterilized and purified milk is scraped by a scraping member 21 at the center and discharged out via a pipe piece 22.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently dissolve powder so that nondissolved block is hardly formed by bringing powder into contact with a circulating stream of dissolved liquid which is formed in the inside of a liquid-powder contacting cylinder and making powder into wetted state and thereafter dropping it in the dissolved liquid. CONSTITUTION:When a circulation pump 40 is operated and a circulation stream of dissolved liquid L is formed, powder fed to the powder feed pipes 49 via the powder storing tanks 2 and a receiving hopper 5 is dropt through the discharge ports. Thereby the large parts of the dropped powder are brought into contact with the reverse conical liquid films formed on the inside surfaces of the liquid-gas contacting cylinders 43 so as to break these and made to the wetted state and dropped in the dissolved solns. of the dissolution tanks 1. One part of powder is in a nonwetted state but because the insides of the tanks 1 are held in negative pressure, the above-mentioned liquid films are broken and the powder is injected to the outsides of the cylinders 43 through the liquid-gas injection holes and made to the wetted state and dropped in the dissolved liquid along the outer surfaces of the cylinders 43. Powder is dissolved in the dissolved liquid L by the stirring of the dissolved liquid L due to the stirring blades 23.
