摘要： A driving assembly for window blinds includes a mounting plate, a winding roller and driving wheels that are engaged with one another, at least one first guiding roller, and at least one second guiding roller. An elastic element is elastically wound around the driving wheels, a pull rope has a starting end fixed to the winding roller and is divided into at least two sections, under a first status, the pull rope partially winds around the winding roller then winds around the second guiding roller and the first guiding roller in turns along outer edges of the second and the first guiding rollers; while under a second status, the pull rope disengages from the winding roller, the second guiding roller and the first guiding roller in turns. The driving assembly has simple structure and convenient assembly, and brings effortless and quick operation to pull or lift the window blind.

摘要： A motorized window covering switching mechanism is described herein. The switching mechanism includes a deflectable arm and a pull cord. The deflectable arm is connected to a first contact, and the pull cord is connected to the deflectable arm such that, as the pull cord is tugged, the deflectable arm deflects to move the first contact toward a second contact, thereby converting gestures of the pull cord into electrical signals that control a motorized window covering. In some embodiments, cord gestures that deflect the deflectable arm include pull sequences, numbers of pulls, strength of pulls, or combinations thereof. Additionally, in some embodiments, a controller receives the cord gestures and translates the cord gestures into operational commands to control and operate a window covering gearbox assembly.

A controller, incorporated into the window covering, is provided to control the gearbox assembly. A security device, such as a camera, motion sensor, audio sensor, proximity sensor, impact sensor, or the like, communicates with the controller and is configured to monitor security at a window associated with the window covering. Such a security sensor may, for example, monitor opening and/or closing of the window, breaking of the window, or the like. In certain embodiments, operation of the window covering is triggered in response to conditions sensed by the security device. A corresponding method is also disclosed herein.

A controller, incorporated into the window covering, is provided to control the gearbox assembly. A temperature sensor communicates with the controller and monitors temperature proximate a window associated with the window covering. The temperature sensor may monitor the temperature of the window, temperature external to the window, temperature internal to the window, temperature within a headrail of the window covering, or the like. The controller is further configured to relay at least one of commands and information to an HVAC controller to regulate room temperature in accordance with the monitored temperature. A corresponding method is also disclosed herein.

A pull cord is configured to receive “cord gestures” from a user. In certain embodiments, “cord gestures” may also be defined by pull direction. 摘要： A tilter system for a window blind permits a portion of the blind to selectively tilt closed while the balance of the blind remains tilted open. Various arrangements are disclosed for achieving this effect. One includes a lag mechanism in a two-piece tape drum which moves as a single unit during part of its rotation and as two independent drums during the balance of the rotation, with the ladder tape of the blind attached to one of the drums and an actuator cord attached to the other drum. The actuator cord is also anchored to the one of the tilt cables of the ladder tape at a desired point where the selective tilting closed of the blind is to be effected.
