    • PURPOSE:To increase the movement of fluid between neighboring flow paths and permit highly efficient heat transfer by a method wherein the area ratio of a through-hole with respect to first heat transfer body is changed in accordance with the relative position of the hole with respect to second heat transfer body. CONSTITUTION:When the flow amount and total pressure of fluid, flowing through an expanded flow path and a narrowed flow path, are supposed to be constant, a pressure difference is generated between one surface side and the other surface side of the same part of a fin 1, bent so as to have truncated wavy form, suction and blow-out of the fluid are realized through the through-hole 2 to obtain good heat transfer promoting effect and a boundary layer is re-developed in the heat transfer surface at the blow-out section starting from the bent section of the fine 1, therefore,, the heat transfer promoting effect, having the same degree substantially as the same in the suction section, is obtained. When the fluids flowing through the expanded and narrowed flow paths, collide against a pipe 3, stream at the back side of the pipe 3 is stagnated, a dead water area 6 is generated and heat transfer characteristic therein is deteriorated extremely as compared with the same in the other area. Accordingly, the number of through-holes 2 in the part corresponding to the dead water area 6 is increased to increase the pressure difference between neighboring expanded and narrowed flow paths and promote the movement of the fluid whereby more prominent heat transfer characteristic may be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve heat transfer coefficient by a method wherein respective through- holes for heat transfer fluid, flowing from expanded flow paths toward narrowed flow paths, are formed by raised-slotted pieces, extruded toward the outlet side of the fluid and provided with specified directions. CONSTITUTION:The sectional area of the expanded flow path 4 is larger than the same of the narrowed flow path 5, therefore, the flow speed of the fluid, flowing through the expanded flow path 4, becomes lower than the same, flowing through the narrowed flow path 5, whereby the heat transfer fluid flows from the expanded flow path 4 into the narrowed flow path 5 through respective through holes 2 and flows along the bridged raised-slotted pieces 2a toward the arrow sign direction in the diagram. The bridged raised-slotted pieces 2a are formed so as to be protruded toward the outlet port side of the fluid to permit the passing of the fluid therethrough, therefore, the flow of the heat transfer fluid may be induced surely and temperature boundary layers, generated on the surface of respective heat transfer plates, may be thinned to increase the heat transfer coefficient thereof. The total surface area of respective bridged raised-slotted pieces 2a is added to the surface area of the heat exchanger, therefore, reduction of heat exchanging area may be prevented as compared with the case wherein only the through holes are equipped on the heat transfer plates.

The both impellers 32, 33 are structured to be respectively provided with a large and a small impeller diameter. Thereby, at the blowing operation, two different amount of air blowings proportional to the square of each impeller radius are sucked through inlet ports 7, 18 and blown-off through outlet ports 8, 19.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the thermal conductivity of a heat exchanger, enable to miniaturize the titled device and reduce the radiation loss thereof by a method wherein a heat exchanger arranged in a hot-water tank is made as a double pipe structure, a hot-water in the hot-water tank is circulated through an inner pipe of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 14 having a double pipe structure is arranged in a hot-water tank 3. By driving a circulating pump 7, a hot-water 17 is raised in temperature by the condensing heat of a refrigerant 15 flowing through an inner pipe 18 of the heat exchanger 14. The heat exchanged hot-water 17 is introduced into a circulating pump 7 via a outlet pipe 24, then discharged via an upper part 19 in the hot-water tank 3 or via a discharging piping 25 as shown by an arrow mark B. By protruding an upper header 20 of the heat exchanger 14 to the outside of the hot-water tank 3, the number of piping penetrating holes arranged on the hot-water tank 3 can be decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness and save energy by a method wherein opening and closing valves are provided at two suction ports of a variable capacity type compressor and the opening periods of time of the opening and closing valves are determined in accordance with the fluctuation of the load of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:Respective suction ports 1b, 1c of the rolling piston type variable capacity compressor 1, having the large capacity cylinder suction port 1b and the small capacity cylinder suction port 1c, is provided with the opening and closing valves 7a, 7b and the opening periods of time thereof are determined in accordance with the fluctuation of the load. According to this method, the cooling capacity of the device may be varied continuously from the maximum to the minimum and the control of the capacity may be effected delicately so as to follow the load, therefore, a temperature change with respect to the set temperature may be small enough and the comfortableness may be improved. Further, an energy efficiency depending upon the reduction of a condensing temperature and the increase of an evaporating temperature may be improved and necessary amount of electric power may be reduced remarkably.
