摘要： A header attachment mechanism for a combine is disclosed wherein a front face member is rotatably attached to the forward end of the feeder house for movement in a fore-and-aft direction and a cradle assembly is pivotally attached to the front face member for rotation generally about the line of travel in a substantially transversely extending plane. By connecting the header to this attachment mechanism, the header can be both adjusted to laterally float relative to the contour of the ground and adjusted to change the cutting angle of the header cutting means relative to the ground through manipulation of the rotation of the cradle assembly and front face member respectively.

摘要： In a combine harvester, the header is lifted up by the feeder and secured thereto by a mechanism including a pair of securing pins on the feeder's carrier structure. The securing pins are provided with stops protruding towards the header and which include a sloped surface, configured to interact with positioning aids on the header. The lateral outward or inward movement of the securing pins is driven by a centrally placed actuator. As the actuator is extended, the positioning aids roll or glide down the sloped surfaces, enabling a gradual approach of the header towards the feeder, up to a point where the securing pins become aligned with slots on the header. Continued actuation of the pin motion then establishes the securing of the header to the feeder.

The rod is configured to rotate in a first direction to transition the locking mechanism to a first position and rotate in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to transition the locking mechanism to a second position. The hook is configured to engage an arm of the header. The arm is configured to support a cutter bar assembly of the header and is configured to rotate about a pivot joint relative to a frame of the header. The rod is configured to rotate in the first direction to engage the hook with the arm to block rotation of the respective arm, and the rod is configured to rotate in the second direction to disengage the hook from the respective arm to enable rotation of the arm.

摘要： A feederhouse assembly for an agricultural harvester includes a frame, a header lock pin, a biasing member coupled to the frame and the header lock pin, and a latch coupled to the frame and the header lock pin. The biasing member is configured to urge the header lock pin outward to lock a harvesting header to the frame. A rotatable latch in a first positron protrudes from the frame and retains the header lock pin in an inward positron. The latch in a second position permits the header lock pin to travel outward. A method includes applying a force from a harvesting header on a latch protruding from a frame of a feederhouse, pushing the latch to release a header lock pin from an inward position, and urging the header lock pin outward to lock the harvesting header to the frame.
