The carbon catalyst for hydrogen production is a carbon catalyst, which is obtained by carbonizing a raw material including an organic substance and a transition metal, the catalyst being used for hydrogen production by thermal decomposition of a hydrocarbon compound and/or an oxygen-containing organic compound. Further, the carbon catalyst for hydrogen production may be obtained by loading an alkaline earth metal on a carbonized material produced by the carbonization.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to integrated injector/igniters providing efficient injection, ignition, and complete combustion of various types of fuels. One example of such an injectors/igniter can include a body having a base portion opposite a nozzle portion. The base portion receives the fuel into the body and the nozzle portion can be positioned adjacent to the combustion chamber. The injector further includes a valve carried by the nozzle portion that is movable between a closed position and an open position to inject the fuel into the combustion chamber. An actuator is coupled the valve and extends longitudinally through the body towards the base portion, and a driver is carried by the body and is movable between a first position and a second position. Thermochemical regeneration of waste heat produced by combustion and associated combustion events is captured and invested in endothermic reactions to improve efficiency of the combustion event. Hydrogen characterized fuel may be used as a heat sink.

摘要： The invention discloses a method of converting carbon dioxide to methanol and/or dimethyl ether using any methane source or natural gas consisting of a combination of steam and dry reforming, in a specific ratio to produce a 2:1 molar ratio of hydrogen and carbon monoxide with subsequent conversion of the CO and H2 mixture exclusively to methanol and/or dimethyl ether. This method is termed the bi-reforming process. Dehydrating formed methanol allows producing dimethyl ether (DME) using any suitable catalytic method, including use of solid acid catalysts. When recycling formed water into the bi-reforming step the conversion of carbon dioxide with methane produces exclusively dimethyl ether without any by-product formation and complete utilization of hydrogen.

摘要： A method of producing hydrogen from oxygenated hydro-carbon reactants, such as methanol, glycerol, sugars e.g. glucose and xylose, or sugar alcohols e.g. sorbitol. The method takes place in the condensed liquid phase. A reactor 18 is disposed within a furnace 20. Liquid reactants are introduced into the reactor 18 via pump 16. Nitrogen supply 10 and hydrogen supply 12 are provided to maintain the overall pressure of the system and the partial pressure of hydrogen within the system chambers in and downstream of the reactor 18. Mass flow controllers 14 are provided to regulate the introduction of nitrogen and hydrogen into the system. A heat exchanger 22 is provided to reduce the temperature of the products exciting the reactor 18. The products are then swept into separator 24. Pressure regulator 28 and back-pressure regulator 26 serve to monitor and maintain the pressure of the system within the set value or range.

摘要： A heat exchanger filled with a catalyst used for reforming DME is provided in an exhaust system of a combustion apparatus such as a furnace, an internal combustion engine, or electric power generation equipment. A mixed gas of DME and H 2 O is fed to the heat exchanger, thereby pyrolyzing the DME and recovering the sensible heat of an exhaust gas of the furnace or the internal combustion engine as H 2 fuel. Since the waste heat is recovered not as steam, hot water, heated air, or the like, but as H 2 fuel or H 2 and CO fuel, the application of the recovered energy is not limited.
