An asset record associated with the content asset may be modified to prevent future recording of the content asset. A record to delete the content asset may be generated in association with the user account in response to determining the user account is not authorized to access the content asset. The record event may be removed.

摘要： Systems and methods for distributing content over various mediums in a service provider network are disclosed. Such mediums may include an optical fiber and a cable line having a bandwidth less than that associated with the optical fiber. In certain embodiments herein, content may be distributed over the cable line, or relatively low bandwidth medium, according to characteristics of the optical fiber, or relatively high bandwidth medium. In one embodiment, data packets may be scheduled using first in first out (FIFO) scheduling for distribution over the cable line using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). Using this approach, increased bandwidths may be achieved over cable lines. Additionally, certain embodiments herein are directed to maintaining a forward/reverse channel split, which may exist in a PON, over a cable line. Further, certain embodiments herein may relate to dynamic allocation of subcarriers in an OFDM signal in response to changes in quality of service.

The distribution service provider system may: receive A/V content provided by the content provider system, wherein the A/V content includes a DRM application; apply a conditional access system (CAS) application to the A/V content that is independent of the DRM application; and transmit the A/V content including the CAS and the DRM applications to the CPE for presentation. The CPE device can perform DRM authorizations with the content provider or a third-party DRM provider.

In some embodiments, the discloses systems and methods may involve receiving data from one or more nodes within a particular network. The data may include, for example, topology, telemetry, geographical, and other data relating to the nodes, the network, and/or the functionality of the nodes or network. Once received, such data may be cleaned and processing may be performed on the data. Such processing may involve clustering the data into groups based on various parameters and performing forecasting on the data to determine future usage rates and capacity information, for example. The clustering and forecasting results may be fed to a rules engine and/or an optimization engine, which may then determine appropriate actions to take on the network (e.g., changes to various nodes in terms of technology and/or number of nodes).
