摘要： A process parameter associated with a material contained in a vibrating structure is estimated. A plurality of motion signals representing motion at a plurality of locations of the vibrating structure are received. The received plurality of motion signals are force filtered with a force filter to produce a force-filtered motion signal that discriminates motion attributable to a force of interest among a plurality of forces acting on the vibrating structure. A process parameter associated with the material contained in the vibrating structure is estimated from the force filtered motion signal. Preferably, a plurality of motion signal values is generated from the received plurality of motion signals, and force filtering includes the step of applying a force filter matrix to the plurality of motion signal values to produce a force filtered motion signal value. A process parameter, such as mass flow, density or the like, is then estimated from the force filtered motion signal value. According to an aspect of the present invention, the force filter matrix represents a product of a frequency response function matrix for the vibrating structure, a force selectivity matrix and an inverse of the frequency response function matrix. Methods for estimating structural motion, along with related apparatus and computer program products, are also discussed.

The location of the natural frequency of the tooth is determined based on the lowest point in the image mode and the point of contraflexure in the real mode.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting and measuring cracks in plate-like structures using acoustic emission technique is disclosed. A false aperture transducer is formed by bonding a mass-loading component to and partially covering a small circular portion of the center surface of a larger aperture piezoelectric disk. In this manner, only a small part of the piezoelectric material in the center of the disk is mass-loaded and very sensitive to low frequency flexure waves created by out-of-plane sources while the remainder of the disk is unloaded and sensitive to high frequency extensional and shear waves created by in-plane sources.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting loosening of an implant imbedded in a bone of a limb of a patient, includes a vibrator is pressed into engagement with the limb to impart vibratory motion to the bone. The vibrator is controlled to cause the vibratory motion to have a predetermined recurring pattern. A pickup device is pressed into engagement with the limb spaced from the vibrator over the same bone near the implant, for detecting the vibratory motion transmitted through the bone implant composite to generate an output signal. Implant loosening is determined when the recurring pattern of the output signal transmitted through the bone implant composite demonstrates sustained superimposition on the oscilloscope and/or significant secondary harmonics on the spectrum analyzer.

The apparatus contains a digital accelerometer that operates off six axes. The apparatus may also include features such as a temperature sensor and ambient light sensor. The system actively monitors time and battery voltage level, as well as records information pertinent to the health of the apparatus. Once affixed to an appliance or piece of machinery, the apparatus monitors the duration of the cycle and the vibrations produced to compile a cycle profile. Once the apparatus has determined the cycle or predetermined period to be complete, a notification is sent to a remote user. This signal may be received by any compatible Bluetooth low energy device.
