    • A track system for traction of a vehicle (e.g., a construction vehicle such as a compact track loader). The track system comprises a track comprising a ground- engaging outer side for engaging the ground and an inner side opposite to the ground-engaging outer side. The track system comprises a track-engaging arrangement for driving and guiding the track around the track-engaging arrangement. The track-engaging arrangement comprises a drive wheel for driving the track and a plurality of roller wheels for rolling on the inner side of the track along a bottom run of the track. The track system comprises a frame for supporting components of the track system, including the roller wheels. The frame may be configured to avoid constraining the roller wheels, which may allow the roller wheels to be wider and better distributed loading onto the track. A rolling contact interface between a roller wheel and the inner side of the track may be nonparallel to a widthwise direction of the track.

    • An endless track suspension 10 is comprised of a suspension support beam 11 having an idler wheel assembly 12, 13 connected to a respective one of opposed ends 11', 11'' thereof. At least one of the idler wheel assemblies 13 has an endless track binding mechanism. Support wheels 17 are secured to the suspension support beam 11 and project from a lower face 18 thereof. A drive sprocket is secured elevated above the suspension support beam 11 by a support arm 16. The drive sprocket 14 is secured to a vehicle drive axle by a coupling ring. The drive sprocket, the support wheels and idler wheels constitute an endless track support assembly for supporting an endless track 15 in drivable engagement thereabout. A flexible connection 22, 26 of the drive sprocket support arm and the support wheels absorbs shocks and vibrations transmitted to the vehicle drive axle by the displacement of the endless track over a rough ground surface.

    • The invention relates to a track-laying undercarriage, especially for cranes, comprising a number of track rollers and at least one drive sprocket whose periphery is provided with track teeth and which is provided with a running rim on both sides. The inventive track-laying undercarriage also comprises an endless track with individual track links each provided with a base plate. Said track links are detachably connected to one another by bolts and by a number of outer and inner lugs that engage inside of each other. Each track link has two guide grousers which are arranged symmetrically with regard to the center and in an interspaced manner and which are situated in a direction of movement. A supporting surface is also provided that interacts with the running rims. The track-laying undercarriage is equipped with a guide surface that interacts with the respective flange of the drive sprocket. A lower-lying cam-like element which connects both grousers and which intermeshes with the track teeth of the drive sprocket is arranged between both guide grousers. The drive sprocket (1) comprises an involute toothing which intermeshes with a straight flank (21.1, 21.2) of the cam-like element (20). The upper side (18) of the respective guide grouser (11.1, 11.2) comprises a concave supporting surface that interacts with the convex running rim of the drive sprocket (1). The surface (23.1, 23.2) of the respective guide grouser (11.1, 11.2) located on the outer side forms the lateral guide between the track rollers (22).
