摘要： In an automobile having a seat cushion supporting the hip, and a seat back supporting the back, of a seated person wherein the seat back in its use position with the seat cushion folded thereon is lifted up to its non-use position in an upper part of the cabin, the seat back when moved from the use position to the non-use position is prevented from interfering with a seat disposed in its front. There is a guide means for guiding the seat back 12 so that it moves rearwards gradually when it is moved from the use position to the non-use position.

SOLUTION: The seat body 1 is movable between a working position on a vehicle body floor F and a storage position under a vehicle body ceiling C, and has a back lock device 9 for engaging lock at the working portion and a ceiling lock device 8 for engaging lock at the storage position. Both the lock devices 8, 9 are operated to be cancelled with the opening operation of an operation lever 7 at a time. A warning display surface 7b is attached to the reverse face which is exposed with the opening operation of the operation lever 7. The warning display surface 7b warns and displays such a state that both the lock devices 8, 9 serve no engaging lock, as an abnormal state. It is kept in a warning display state with the operation lever 7 held in an opening operation position when both lock devices 8, 9 are in the cancelled state, and put into no warning display state with the operation lever 7 operated to be closed when one of them serves engaging lock. Between both the frames 12, 13, a force transmission structure 7 for transmitting the force to the cushion frame 12 side by pushing a member at the cushion frame 12 side by a member at the back frame 13 side when the seat belt is forwardly pulled and deformation is generated at the member between the belt anchor and the striker is provided.
