摘要： A chemical mechanical polishing method includes providing a device layer having a surface to be polished, polishing the surface using an alkaline grinding slurry, removing a residual layer that is been formed on the polished surface using an acid buffer, forming a passivation layer covering the polished surface of the device layer after the residual layer has been removed, and cleaning the passivation layer using deionized water. A semiconductor device thus fabricated has surfaces with excellent flatness, good manufacturing yield and long-term reliability.

摘要： A method and a system for producing synthetic gas from biomass by high temperature gasification, including: feeding raw material, carbonizing, pulverizing the charcoal, and transporting charcoal powder to the gasification furnace for gasification. A heat source for the carbonizing is achieved by a direct combustion reaction between external combustible gas and external oxygen in a carbonization furnace. The heat emitted from the reaction being directly provided to the necessary heat of biomass pyrolysis, and yielding pyrolysis gas and charcoal from carbonization furnace.

摘要： The claimed subject matter provides a system and/or a method facilitates energy-aware connection distribution among a plurality of servers in a cluster. A set of busy servers in the cluster can be provided that each handle a high number of connections. In addition, a set of tail servers in the cluster can be managed that each maintain a low number of connections. A load skewing component gives priority to at least a subset of the set of busy servers when dispatching new connection requests from a plurality of users. In addition, the load skewing component controls the number of tail servers to maintain a sufficient number for energy-aware operation.
