摘要： In a projection-type video display device that displays an image by projecting the image onto a projection object starting from a desk surface, a display screen on which a position and a gesture operation of a user are reflected is displayed in a predetermined area. An illumination and a camera are disposed in the projection-type video display device installed on the desk surface, a gesture using user's fingers is detected, and, for example, a menu screen and an operation guide are displayed according to the gesture. The shadows of the fingers are photographed by the camera, and a gesture is detected. According to the gesture, the display screen is moved, rotated, divided, or enlarged/reduced, or a menu screen is displayed. The display direction is determined in consideration of the direction of sides of the desk.

The encoding device includes an image conversion module that converts the direction of the images using right-left symmetry mode convention or up-down symmetry mode conversion. Encoding modules are used to encode both the unconverted and converted images. A mode selector module compares the quantity of codes in the encoded unconverted images and the quantity of codes in the encoded converted images, and selects codes that are smaller in the quantity of codes for output.

摘要： Provided is a sprayer which can be used as a cosmetic mist device and an inhaler and includes a tank of a large capacity enough to dispense mist with a sufficient remaining amount of liquid when the sprayer is used heavily.The sprayer includes: an air pump 14; a motor 15; a battery 16; a mist nozzle 12; a tank 13; and a vertically long cylindrical main body case 1 for housing these respective devices. A mist opening 3 is open in an upper portion of a front wall 1a of the main body case 1 and the mist nozzle 12 is disposed on an inner side of the mist opening 3. An inside of the main body case 1 is divided into a front chamber 1A and a back chamber 1B by a division wall 23 and the tank 13 is housed in the front chamber 1A. The air pump 14, the motor 15, and an electrical component section 17 including the battery 16 are disposed in the mentioned order in the back chamber 1B. The tank 13 is formed in a vertically long shape occupying a most part of the front chamber 1A so as to be increased in capacity without affecting an outer shape of the main body case 1. A grip portion 5 is formed in a recessed manner at an upper portion of a back face of the main body case 1 and the air pump 14 and the motor 15 are disposed near the grip portion 5.

摘要： A magnetic recording medium of the present invention is a magnetic recording medium including a non-magnetic substrate; a non-magnetic layer that is formed on one of principal surfaces of the non-magnetic substrate and contains a non-magnetic powder, a binder, and a lubricant; and a magnetic layer that is formed on a principal surface of the non-magnetic layer opposite to the non-magnetic substrate and contains a magnetic powder and a binder. The magnetic powder has an average particle size between 10 nm and 35 nm inclusive. The lubricant is migratable to the magnetic layer and forms a lubricant layer on a surface of the magnetic layer when a pressure is applied to the magnetic layer. When spacing of the surface of the magnetic layer before and after washing the lubricant with n-hexane is measured with a TSA (Tape Spacing Analyzer), the value of the spacing after washing is 3 to 10 nm, and the value of the spacing before washing is 1 to 5 nm smaller than the value of the spacing after washing.
