A capacitor assembly comprises thermal conductive tubes 4 disposed substantially parallel to each other and in contact to define passages 6 and 6 1 for cooling fluid between them, at least one capacitor 1 being supported within each tube and thermally connected to it, e.g. by potting compound 5. As shown the tubes are mounted in bracket 7 and may be brazed or strapped together. The assembly may act as a filter (Fig. 2, not shown) one terminal of each capacitor being connected to the tube which is earthed and the other to a voltage carrying bus wire. In another filter arrangement (Figs. 3, 4, not shown), two or more cylindrical capacitors are included in each tube and disposed concentrically around an insulated bus wire. The capacitor leads, which are as short as possible, are connected to the bus wire through breaks in the insulation and to the tube. The arrangement is also suitable for compact packaging and cooling of capacitors connected in series or parallel, e.g. in a L-C trap circuit (Fig. 5, not shown).

摘要： A safety device for venting excess pressure in a wet capacitor container (1) includes a lift valve (4) disposed in the wall or lid of the container, the body of the valve (4) being disposed with the aid of at least one resilient member (6) for being pressed against the valve seat (7) against the action of the pressure prevailing in the container (1), the member (6) being implemented as a resilient tongue (6) on a washer-like spring (8), where the tongue has been bent over in a direction towards the valve body (5). The spring (8) is also provided with a plurality of tongues (9) bent over in a direction away from the valve body (5) for retaining the spring (8) in the container.

摘要： In a high-tension capacitor comprising a plurality of elements (A) each of which is a rolled laminate of alternate electrodes and dielectrics, the porous dielectric layers are impregnated with synthetic resin.
