摘要： A projectile (10) for firing from a barrel, said projectile including a multiplicity of barrel assemblies (12, 13, 14) radially disposed from the centre of mass of the projectile, wherein each of said multiplicity of barre l assemblies includes a plurality of sub-projectiles (16) axially disposed within a barrel; each of said sub-projectiles associated with a discrete propellent charge (17) for propelling a respective sub-projectile from the barrel, wherein said projectile is capable of selectively firing sub- projectiles (16), suitably with the aid of primers (18) each coupled to an electronic controller (15), to provide a predetermined pattern of deployed s ub- projectiles. A defence system employing projectiles of the type described is also disclosed, together with a method for disguising the launch location of a projectile utilising divert propulsion.

摘要： The invention relates to the field of releasable loads, for example, from an aircraft to which they are fixed and in particular a munition containing an incendiary gel constituted from hydrocarbons and gelling agents and intended to develop an incendiary effect on various targets on the ground. The invention permits dispersion of the munition above ground by virtue of means of distribution constituted by a pyrotechnic belt (20), slabs of propergol (21, 22), a shield (6) and a connecting rod (24). These means of distribution ensure, before impact with the ground, regular spreading of the incendiary gel. The invention also permits ignition of the incendiary gel at the moment of dispersal of the munition by virtue of means of ignition composed of ignition capsules (23). Application the munitions containing an incendiary gel but also to munitions containing a product to be spread.

摘要： The present invention relates to launchable unit (1), such as a shell or the like for use in a weapon, comprising a warhead for generating non-nuclear electro magnetic pulses (EMP). There is a demand for weapons that can be used for many different purposes from very limited non-lethal effects to full effect. At the same time the weapon armoury must be kept down in number. The object of the present invention is to obtain a launchable unit offering the possibility to create a plurality of effects for different operating modes by means of the same launcher unit at the same time as the weight of the carried ammunition weight is kept down. The object is obtained by a launchable unit comprising a warhead for generation of non-nuclear electro magnetic pulses combined with thermobaric effects without dangerous fragments, and that the warhead is arranged to operate in different modes dependent on target types and/or objectives with engagement controlled by the aiming and setting of the weapon by a gunner.
