    • A surgical headlamp containing at least one lamp housing, with the one lamp housing containing multiple LED light sources featured wherein the LED's cooperate together to produce a light engine. The lamp housing may be adjusted so that light beams emitted by each LED are selectively converged through a focusing lens at a spot a predetermined distance in front of the lamp housing. The lamp housing contains in addition to the LED's, one or more focusing lenses to gather and direct the light generated by the LED's forward to an illuminated work area. Batteries, preferably rechargeable, are mounted in a waist pack external to the headband, and are used to power the LED's. A cooling system for cooling the heat generated by the LED's is provided which utilizes a swirling effect of fluid adjacent a heat sink to transfer the heat to the swirling fluid.

    • The present invention refers to a cooling device for lamp with power light emitting diode comprising of a number of cooling water containers containing a circulating pump and a temperature sensor installed to a particular body with lighting installed. Cooling water incoming pipe and extruding pipe connected to the cooling water container above are connected to a cooling water circulation passage of power light emitting diode, so that cooling water flows in circulation within the circulation passage. When the temperature of the circulating cooling water rises to a certain point, the circulation of the particular cooling water container stops operating, and another cooling water container is operated to keep the thermal power light emitting diode at room temperature, so that the durability of the power light emitting diode is lengthened, and maximizes the cooling effectiveness and power-saving.

    • The invention is for an apparatus and method for removal of waste heat from heat-generating components including high-power solid-state analog electronics such as being developed for hybrid-electric vehicles, solid-state digital electronics, light-emitting diodes for solid-state lighting, semiconductor laser diodes, photo-voltaic cells, anodes for x-ray tubes, and solids-state laser crystals. Liquid coolant is flowed in one or more closed channels having a substantially constant radius of curvature. Suitable coolants include electrically conductive liquids (including liquid metals) and ferrofluids. The former may be flowed by magneto-hydrodynamic effect or by electromagnetic induction. The latter may be flowed by magnetic forces. Alternatively, an arbitrary liquid coolant may be used and flowed by an impeller operated by electromagnetic induction or by magnetic forces. The coolant may be flowed at very high velocity to produce very high heat transfer rates and allow for heat removal at very high flux.
