摘要： Systems and methods for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for installing and sealing a fuel pump in a fuel tank may include (1) a fuel tank with an opening in a surface thereof; and (2) a fuel pump hanger assembly, the fuel pump hanger assembly comprising; (a) a plurality of assembly screws; (b) a plurality of clamping lugs configured to thread onto the plurality of assembly screws and engage an inside surface of the fuel tank; (c) a top plate further comprising; (i) a bearing surface configured to engage an external fuel tank surface; (ii) a plurality of through holes proximate the perimeter of the top plate and perpendicular to the bearing surface; (iii) a plurality of bosses, each of the plurality of bosses adjacent to each through hole, configured to guide and position the each clamping lug; and (d) a gasket positioned between the top plate and the fuel tank.

A lid is connected to the frame and is movable between a raised position and a lowered position. A locking device is located on the lid and includes at least one engagement member for engaging a part of an associated lock ring for securing an associated fuel pump in the associated fuel tank. The locking device is operable to automatically move from a first position to a second position for rotating the associated lock ring to a locked state. A stop mechanism is operably connected to the locking device to automatically stop movement of the locking device at the second position to prevent over tightening of the associated lock ring.

The apparatus has of a closed space container with gas inlet port, nozzle manifold, purging gas port and liquid solution outlet port. The gas enters the container through the inlet port and a liquid enters into the container through the manifold by dispersing through nozzles. Gas saturates into dispersed liquid micro-droplets within the container, hence forming a gas/liquid solution. The gas/liquid solution flows to the bottom of the container and exits from the container through the liquid outlet port so no gas/liquid solution accumulates inside the container in the process of its making.
