A storage tank according to the invention is relatively inexpensive in comparison to conventional storage tanks, and can be disassembled or packaged to occupy a relatively small volume for purposes of transportation and storage. A storage tank according to the invention may have a capacity in the range of between 200 to 10,000 liters, while only occupying a volume of less than 1 cubic meter when disassembled.

摘要： A modular container wall unit and containment system formed therewith, each wall unit includes a central panel having wing-like side panels integrally formed on opposite sides thereof and angularly intersecting the central panel at an angle such that, when the side panels of another modular unit are affixed to the central panel of the present unit, and one or more like units are affixed to the second and third units, a chamber is formed which, when combined with a bottom panel and a top panel, defines a container. The central panel of each unit is designed to include recessed areas adapted to mate with the side panel of another modular unit to facilitate the expansion of the system to form an adjacent cell or chamber. Furthermore, the modular unit is configured to withstand lateral loads and maintain system integrity.

摘要： The individual structural member of the invention includes a pair of parallel panels which are spaced from each other to define a cavity therebetween. The panels are staggered in the longitudinal direction so that an end section of one panel extends beyond an end of the other panel and vice versa to form a front extension section and a rear extension section of the structural member. The non-extension end edge of each panel is connected to the opposing panel by flat walls. Each extension section is provided with a flange. The front section flange of one structural member is adapted to interlock with the rear section flange of another structural member so that the structural members can be assembled in end to end fashion with the panels of one structural member being coplanar with the panels of adjoining structural members to form a double wall of, for example, a container .
