A back cover that is made of elastic fabric includes pockets which engage the back frame portion to hold the cover (38) onto the back frame portion. Likewise, a seat cover (40) that is made of elastic fabric includes pockets which engage the seat frame portion to hold the cover onto the seat frame portion. The seat is formed with at least one rail blade that is slidably engaged with a rail mounted on the steel frame of the automobile, to permit adjusting the seat in the longitudinal direction as desired by the occupant of the automobile.
