    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of an analyzed result using a capillary electrophoretic mass spectrometer by a method wherein a plurality of analytical operations are performed under the same analytical condition, the electrophoretic times of at least one substance are compared and the time base of the obtained analyzed result is corrected. SOLUTION: Ion electropherograms obtained, in a first analytical operation and a second analytical operation, of ions whose value m/z obtained by dividing the valence of ions by the molecular weight of ions is (x) are designated respectively as A and B. A peak caused by the ions to which attention is to be paid is designated as P1 , the peak P1 is observed at a time t1 in the electropherogram A, and it is observed at a time t1 in the electropherogram B. When the time base of the electropherogram B is corrected by making use of the peak P1 in the electropherogram A as a reference, the peak P1 in the electropherogram B is observed at the time t1 ' although it should be observed at the time t1 . As a result, the time base in the electropherogram B is multiplied by t1 /t1 ' so as to obtain a time base after it has been corrected in the electropherogram B. Thereby, an apparent time base in the electropherogram A agrees with that in the eletropherogram B, and the elecropherograms A, B can be compared directly.

    • PURPOSE:To have sure identification of specimen by quickly scanning the mass range to be measured while the specimen is ionized and sensed, changing up and down the electric field applied to the intermediate pressure part one scanning after another, and by increasing the strength of molecular ions or, by contrast, increasing the strength fragment ions. CONSTITUTION:Mixture specimen contained in a liquid carrier is separated with a liquid chromatograph 1, and the flowout liquid containing it is poured into an atomizer 3 via a Teflon tube 2 to turn it into liquid drops, and a gasifier 4 turns it into free specimen molecules without solvation. This undergoes a corona discharge treatment using a needle electrode 5 under a vacuum of 1-760Torr, and molecular ions as a product are put in an intermediate pressure part having No.1 electrodes 6 and 7 with small hole, wherein the inside pressure is 0.1-10Torr. The control voltage from power supply 14 is impressed on the electrodes 6 and 7 and generated different mass sensed by an ion sensor 18. Thus the intensities of molecular ions and fragment ions are enlarged by simulation to ensure the identification with mass spectrum.

Therefore, since the ion generating part and the sample introducing part are provided separately, it can be prevented that the ion generating efficiency is given adverse effect because the electrodes of ion generating part is contaminated when the sample is introduced, and moreover ion can be extracted stably for a long period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To perform efficiently an analysis without inducing clogging, etc. in an atomizing means, etc. by providing a means for removing the salt in the outflow liquid from a liquid chromatograph, atomizing the outflow liquid after removal of the salt and analyzing the same by an ion mass spectrometer.
