    • An object of the invention is to provide a motor rotor structure for an electric turbo charger which can be manufactured at a low cost while ensuring the assembly quality of a motor rotor for an electric turbo charger by fixedly fitting, over a shaft, a rotor core having electromagnetic steel sheets pre-formed as an integrated stack in such a manner as to prevent the rotor core from rotating relative to the shaft. The motor rotor structure for an electric turbo charger is characterized by including: a rotor core (80) which is rotated by a magnetic field formed by a stator placed in a housing; a shaft (100) configured to rotate a compressor impeller (3) and the rotor core (80) together; and a bearing which supports the shaft (100) rotatably, wherein the motor rotor includes: the rotor core (80) which has electromagnetic steel sheets previously integrated as a stack; a stopper portion (28) which is formed at an intermediate portion of the shaft (100) in the thrust direction of the shaft to restrict axial movement of the rotor core (80); and a pressing unit (28, 43) which presses the rotor core (80) fitted over the shaft (100) against the stopper portion (28), the pressing unit preventing a circumferential phase shift between the shaft (100) and the rotor core (80) by a pressing force thereof, wherein the rotor core (80) has an inner sleeve (81) fitted over the shaft (100) and the plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets (67) which are fitted over the inner sleeve (81) and stacked on one another in a thrust direction of the inner sleeve (81), wherein
      the pressing unit (28, 43) presses the inner sleeve (81), and wherein the bearing arrangement (83 , 84) consists of ball bearings and the rotor core (80) has a side surface which is opposed to the ball bearings and which is formed with a flange portion (82) extending radially from an open end peripheral edge of the inner sleeve (81), wherein an elastic member (28) is interposed between the flange portion (82) and a bearing (83) of the ball bearing arrangement (83, 84).

    • A supercharging system for an internal combustion engine provided with a plurality of turbochargers includes: a state-amount detection part configured to detect a state amount related to an operational state of the internal combustion engine; and a control part configured to control at least one of an intake flow-passage switching valve or an exhaust flow-passage switching valve so that an operation mode transitions from a first operation mode to a second operation mode if the state amount is at least a threshold selected corresponding to the state amount on the basis of a first threshold function, and so that the operation mode transitions from the second operation mode to the first operation mode if the state amount is less than a threshold selected corresponding to the state amount on the basis of a second threshold function. The first threshold function and the second threshold function are set to be different from each other.
