    • A turbocharger 100 according to one embodiment of this invention includes: a rotation shaft 2; a compressor impeller 105; a compressor housing 104; a bearing housing 106 connected to the compressor housing 104 and configured to define a diffuser flow path 112 between the bearing housing 106 and the compressor housing 104; a thrust plate 4 configured to support the rotation shaft 2 in an axial direction; an insert component 6 configured to retain the thrust plate 4 between the insert component 6 and a protruding wall portion 106A in the bearing housing; a snap ring 8 configured to be inserted in a first circumferential groove 81 formed in an inner peripheral wall surface 106a of the bearing housing 106, to thereby fix the insert component 6 in a state in which the insert component 6 is pressed against the thrust plate 4; and a diffuser component 9 having a diffuser surface 91a extending along a direction orthogonal to an axis of the rotation shaft 2 between the inner peripheral wall surface 106a of an end portion of the bearing housing 106 on one side thereof and an outer peripheral edge 105a of the compressor impeller 105.
