摘要： A gas generator includes a reactant capable of producing a gas and a gas outlet valve that can function as both a gas flow valve and a pressure relief vent, using the same gas flow path through the valve. When the valve is closed and the pressure within the gas generator is below a threshold pressure, a moveable valve member is biased against a valve seat to block the outlet port. When gas generator is coupled to the apparatus, an actuator is inserted into the valve, displacing the moveable valve member and separating it from the valve seat to open the valve. When the gas generator is uncoupled, pressure at or above a threshold displaces the moveable member, separating it from the valve seat to open the outlet port so pressure can be released to the external environment.

The cathode includes iron disulfide which exhibits multiple peaks representing distinct maxima of mean diameters for the volume-based particle size distribution. All of the maxima are less than (20) microns. A combination of natural pyrite ore and synthetic iron disulfide may be mixed to achieve the desired distribution, or a combination of natural pyrite ores may be processed in different manners to achieve the desired characteristics.

When the safety razor is at rest on a horizontal surface the areas of contact of the razor handle and the horizontal surface include a surface of an opposed end of the grip portion of the handle and a surface of a foot at a first end of the grip portion. When the safety razor is in this at rest position the razor cartridge is spaced from the horizontal surface. A shaving aid body of the cartridge that can be water swellable is also spaced from the horizontal surface. By application of an external force the safety razor can be rocked to a position where the razor cartridge additionally contacts the horizontal surface. When the safety razor is released from the rocked position it self-rights to its at rest position.

摘要： According to one aspect of the present invention, a lubrication box includes a first portion, a shaving aid material, and a second portion. The first portion of the lubrication box has a skin-engaging surface and at least one sidewall that, together, form a cavity. The skin-engaging surface includes at least two holes therethrough. The shaving aid material, which is optionally distributed in the cavity in a series of layers, is ultrasonically compressed into the cavity. The second portion of the lubrication box is attached to the first portion such that the cavity is substantially closed. A gap exists between in the cavity between the shaving aid and the second portion of the lubrication box to permit the shaving aid material to expand during normal use. The skin-engaging surface is askew relative to the shave plane of the blades.
