摘要： A surface-coated, molded resin article for vehicles composed of a substrate (100) made of a resin, a plate layer (101) formed on the surface of the substrate (100) and coating films formed on the surface of the plate layer (101) wherein two or more different silicone-based coating films (102), (103) containing UV absorbers are laminated on each other. The lower coating film (102) is a light-reflective pearl film, while the upper coating film (103) is a film having a desired color. The UV rays are absorbed by the UV absorber contained in each coating film, to reduce the amount of UV rays that reach the interface between the plate layer 101 and the coating film 102, thus, peeling of the coating films can be effectively prevented. The lower coating film 102 reflects the external rays and provides a glossy appearance, thus contributing to the improvement in the appearance as a metallic coating.

摘要： Provided is a method for modifying one surface of a textile fabric or a nonwoven fabric, which comprises coating a sizing agent inactive to plasma treatment on one surface of a hydrophobic or hydrophilic textile fabric or nonwoven fabric, subjecting another surface of the textile fabric or the nonwoven fabric to low-temperature plasma treatment to form an active seed for a graft polymerization reaction, then graft-polymerizing this active seed with a polymerizable monomer, and thereafter removing the sizing agent coated on one surface of the textile fabric or the nonwoven fabric. Clothing in which sweat given in sports or the like can easily be shifted from one surface to another thereof and can easily be evaporated and which has wash and wear properties is obtained.

摘要： A method for coating a metal surface, comprising: applying a solution comprising an amide thiol compound and a solvent to a metal surface, allowing the thiol compound to self assemble on the surface, and removing excess thiol compound from the surface. The amide thiol compound is preferably a fluoralkyl amide thiol and more preferably one having the general formula F(CF2)nCONH(CH2)nSH, where n and m are each 2-20. The solution can be sprayed onto the metal surface, or the metal surface can be dipped into the solution. The surface should be kept wet for a time period sufficient to allow the thiol molecules to self assemble on the metal surface.
