摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for diverting water from a shower diverter valve and distributing within an interior of a bathtub. One non-limiting embodiment of the system disclosed herein includes a flexible hose having a first end connected to the shower diverter valve, the flexible hose extending into the interior of the bathtub and having a second end opposite the first, the second end of the hose connecting to an inlet of a basin disposed within the interior of the bathtub and supported by a bottom surface of the bathtub; the basin being generally rectangular in shape, the basin having an internal cavity for receiving water from the flexible hose, the basin having a top surface for placing a child during a bath, the top surface having a plurality of holes about an outer perimeter of the top surface of the basin; wherein water flowing from the shower diverter valve through the flexible hose and into the internal cavity of the basin emits from the plurality of holes in the top surface of the basin, creating a gentle shower for bathing the child.

摘要： One or more embodiments are disclosed for an infant bathing apparatus that fits in any sized bathtub for bathing a newborn, an infant, or a toddler and further allows a parent to sit in the bathtub during bath time. The infant bathing apparatus comprises a frame, a sling, one or more straps, and a stand. The frame is rigid and made of a buoyant material to stay afloat on top of the water and further defines an opening within which the sling is placed and removably connected to the frame. The sling holds and supports the baby within the frame. The one or more straps connect to the frame and may have suction cups that secure the frame to the sides of the bathtub. The stand is connected to the frame and rests on the floor of the bathtub. A parent may sit comfortably within the bathtub either with the stand attached to the frame or remove the stand from the frame once sitting inside the bathtub.

The bathing apparatus is primarily intended to be locatable at the height of the rim of a conventional bathtub and positioned such that the child is positioned in a semi-sitting position along the longitudinal length of the bathtub. With the infant bathing apparatus in place, sufficient room exists within the bathtub so that an adult may simultaneously bath with the child. Extendable appendages at the side thereof allow the bathing apparatus to fit across the rim of the bathtub. In another embodiment of the infant bathing apparatus, legs which may comprise the repositioned appendages may be fitted to and extend from the underside of the bathing apparatus to form an elevated bathing device which fits within the bathtub.

摘要： The invention relates to a swaddling table for swaddling babies having a horizontal swaddling plate which is movable relative to a vertical, round guide rail. The swaddling plate is connected to bushing which surrounds the guide rail. To support the swaddling plate, there is a retention device which comprises bores or recesses along the guide rail and a lever piece connected to the bushing. The lever piece is pivotable about a horizontal axis and is pre-stressed towards the bores or recesses by means of a spring. The lever piece carries an extension which can engage into the bores and which has an approximately horizontal surface towards the bottom and a run-in slope towards the top.

摘要： An infant bathing device having the undersurface thereof contoured for being removably received in resting position on a double sink, the device having a first trough portion configured and contoured for receiving the body of the infant, the first trough portion adjacent one end of the device having an upwardly extending back and head supporting portion extending above the highest point of the first trough portion. The device includes a second shallower trough portion adjacent the other end thereof for receiving bathing articles such as soap and the like. Intermediate the two trough portions is an overflow divider spaced below the upper periphery of the main body of the device, the divider having the undersurface thereof configured for resting on the divider of a double kitchen sink with the back and head supporting portion abutting one end of the sink. The back supporting portion may optionally be provided with handle means with the entire device being formed in an integral unit.
