摘要： A liquid ozone system in which a liquid bath, preferably of distilled water, is kept in a pressure vessel and gaseous ozone is diffused into the liquid. The ozonenated liquid is then used as a steriliant in a container which is engagable with the pressure vessel. In the preferred embodiment the container and the pressure vessel are chilled to maintain the ozone diffused in the liquid. Excess liquid from the container is communicated to a destruct mechanism such as activated charcoal or discharged into the waste water system.

摘要： A locking system is disclosed for securing and locking sliding panels such as doors or windows of the type in which the opening and closing movement of a sliding panel occurs in a plane adjacent and generally perpendicular to a fixed surface which is substantially parallel to a side edge of the sliding panel. The system comprises first and second locking bars of predetermined fixed length for being positioned between one side edge of a sliding panel and one fixed surface opposite that side edge. First bracket means are mounted either upon the one side edge or upon the opposite fixed surface, and support one respective end of each of the first and second locking bars adjacent one another, and thereby maintain the ends against the side edge or the fixed surface. Second bracket means are mounted upon the other of the side edge or the opposite fixed surface, and support the other respective end of each of the locking bars in spaced relationship to one another. The second bracket means thereby maintain the ends in the spaced relationship, whereby the locking bars and the first and second bracket means form a triangularly braced barrier to movement of the sliding panel along the plane of movement thereof and a barrier to removal of the panel out of its plane of movement.

A plurality of preferably square guard bars disposed in spaced relationship are connected to two support members, which are secured to the frame of a window. A means for locking the members so as to prevent them from sliding together is mounted to at least one bar of the plurality, the means being attached to the smaller member abutting the larger member. The means for locking includes a flexible sleeve portion surrounded by a flexible grip having flanges that can be drawn together or released via a bolt extending through bolt holes in the flanges, the bolt having a head provided with a keyway that fits a key.

摘要： For adjustably locking relatively-sliding double closures, such as double-hung sliding sash windows, inserted between the adjacent frame and one of the sashes, this adjustable locking device includes a pair of interconnected first and second elongated bars, the first of which is T-shaped in cross-section and slidably movable in the channel-shaped second bar. One end of the first bar carries a pivoted screw upon which is threaded an adjusting collar, whereas its upper end carries a slidably mounted spring-pressed locking pin selectively engageable with one of a series of locking holes in the second bar. This pin is moved into and out of its selected locking hole by a thumb lever mounted on the first bar and having a pivotal connection therewith. A transverse attachment plate is secured to the upper edge of the upper bar for engagement with the upper channel of the window frame.
