摘要： In a grommet for a vehicle floor cover, receptacles formed in a generally cylindrical inner surface of a female tubular body making up part of one grommet portion receive protrusions formed on a generally cylindrical outer surface of a male tubular body making up part of a second grommet portion. The bottom grommet portion may have chamfered gussets formed adjacent a bottom retention flange in order to accommodate vehicle floor mats or trays of different thicknesses. Stud holes created in respective ones of the grommets receive studs of intentionally different shape or orientation, thereby militating against installation of the floor cover upside down.

The shell halves (12,14) each having, along a vertical mating surface (63), a means (62,64) for interlocking adapted to interlock with the means for interlocking of a second cable hanger positioned against the cable hanger along the vertical mating surface (63). A connection side of the cable hanger may be adapted to have a means for latching to couple with a third cable hanger, positioned connection side to connection side with the cable hanger. The cable hanger allowing additional cables to be added without modifying the mounting of the base hanger.

摘要： A cable tie wrap (10) for bundling cables (12) includes a coupling body (16) and an elastic cord (14) defining a loop (22) attached to a cord connection end (18) of the coupling body (16). The coupling body (16) includes a projection (26) formed on an outer surface (24) thereof for removably hooking the loop (22) defined by the cord (14) to the coupling body (16). The projection (26) includes an annular groove (28) and a retaining lip (29) formed thereon for removably nesting the elastic cord (14) therein. The coupling body (16) may further include at least one cord retention rib (30) formed on the outer surface (24) thereof for preventing the cord (14) from slipping off the outer surface of the body (16). The tie wrap (10) further preferably includes means for attaching the tie wrap (10) to a cable to be bundled so that the tie wrap (10) is not misplaced when not in use. A method for securing a bundle of cables (12) generally includes the steps of gathering a bundle of cables (12) together, wrapping the elastic cord (14) around the bundle of cables (12) and hooking the loop (22) defined at one end of the cord (14) to the projection (26) of the coupling body (16) to form a band around the bundle of cables (12) thereby securing the bundled cable.
