    • A Universal Serial Bus/Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (USB/SATA) common interface Includes a USB/SATA common connector plug having a pin substrate, a plurality of USB contact terminals, and a plurality of SATA contact terminals. The pin substrate is formed of a non-conductive material. The USB contact terminals are formed in a first pattern on a first surface of the pin substrate. The SATA contact terminals are formed in a second pattern which is different from the first pattern, on a second surface of the pin substrate. Therefore, the USB/SATA common interface formed with the USB contact terminals and SATA contact terminals respectively having different patterns in a single plug or in a single socket reduces a layout size of a device and saves resources.

    • An electrical connector is capable of being electrically connected to a first electric component and a second electric component. The electrical connector comprises an insulated body and a plurality of first and second conductive terminals. The insulated body is elastic. The first conductive terminal comprises a base portion, and a first contact portion and a second contact portion respectively extend from two ends of the first base portion. The second conductive terminal comprises a second base portion, and a third contact portion and a fourth conductive portion extend from two ends of the second base portion. Once the first conductive terminal is compressed, the insulated body is forced to deform, and the second contact portion contacts the third contact portion. Furthermore, the second and third contact portions face each other, and tail ends of the second and third contact portions exceed each other and contact each other after compression.

    • A universal four-contact plug and jack assembly permits interconnection of microphone and stereo audio signals between an audio peripheral incorporating the four-contact plug and an audio device that includes the four-contact jack. Dimensionally, the interconnecting segments of the four-contact plug are, in terms of overall length, consistent with standard three-contact audio plugs which allows the four-contact plug to be plugged into a three-contact jack intended for use with conventional three-contact audio plugs.
