    • There is performed a treatment including a grinding working step of grinding at least a portion of a rolling surface and a sliding surface of a motion guide device using a rolling member by a grinding working using a grinding stone, and a surface treating step of effecting a peening treatment to a friction surface formed by the grinding working to render a defect on the friction surface caused by the grinding working harmless. By manufacturing a motion guide device through such treating steps, a defect such as flaw generated on the friction surface is made harmless, the fatigue strength, sliding performance and lifetime of the device can be improved. Even in a travelling distance test, a travelling distance largely over a calculated lifetime could be achieved. Accordingly, even if a flaw is generated on the friction surface or rolling surface by the grinding working using a grinding stone, the flaw can be made harmless without giving influence to an allowable dimensional accuracy of a member to be treated.

    • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Kreuzrollenlager, dessen Laufringe (1, 10, 2) je eine etwa v-förmige angeordnete Nut (12, 22) zur direkten oder indirekten Aufnahme der gekreuzt und käfiggeführten Zylinder­rollen (3, 30) aufweisen.
      Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Schenkel der ringförmi­gen Nut (12, 22) der Laufringe (1, 10, 2) oder die Schenkel eines eingesetzten Lauf­bahnbandes (4) länger sind, als die an ihnen abrollende Mantelfläche der Zylinderrollen (3, 30). Vorzugsweise stellt die Projektion einer Zylinderrolle (3, 30) ein Rechteck dar, dessen kürzere Seite die abrollende Mantelfläche (31) ist.
      Vorteilhaft ist es ferner, wenn ein Laufbahnband (4) aus einem auf ca. 90 Grad winklig biegbares Band mit v-förmigem Querschnitt aus gehärtetem Material zwischen Zylinderrollen und Nuten einge­setzt ist.
