    • A stable blower for use primarily with an inflatable structure is disclosed. In one embodiment, the drive axle for the blower's impeller is aligned substantially vertically thereby making it more stable. The inlet and outlet to the blower can be substantially similarly so as to allow the blower to assist with deflation of the inflatable structure by reversing the connection of the blower to the inflatable structure. In another disclosed embodiment, the outlet is aligned substantially vertically so as to allow the blower to be positioned at the base of a leg of a freestanding inflatable structure. The blower's frame can have a domed or a substantially planar top. A two-part impeller with a related conus assembly is also disclosed.

    • An inflatable shelter includes a flexible membrane, a first elongate inflatable tube supported by the flexible membrane and a second elongated inflatable tube supported by the flexible membrane. The first tube has first and second axial ends and a first intermediate portion between the first and second axial ends. The second tube has third and fourth axial ends and a second intermediate portion between the third and fourth axial ends. The first, second, third and fourth axial ends terminate in a plane. The first and second intermediate portions converge towards one another such that the first and second tubes form four legs supporting the membrane. The flexible membrane preferably includes first and second sleeves defining first and second lumens receiving the first and second inflatable tubes, respectively, and a plurality of wall panels coupled to and extending between the first and second sleeves. The first and second lumens of the first and second sleeves are separated by at least one divider panel extending substantially parallel to the first and second tubes. The first and second tubes are insertable into and removable from the first and second sleeves, respectively, such that the first and second tubes are replaceable.

    • A tent is fabricated from a seamless spherical shell. The floor of the tent is established as a plane interiorly dividing the shell into two chambers. The floor peripherally contacts the inner surface of the shell, and is sealed against the inner surface of the spherical shell. The larger chamber serves as the living chamber, while a smaller air tight chamber is formed between the floor and the shell. The air tight chamber is provided with a valve communicating with the outside environment. When the tent is disassembled, and with the valve opened, the spherical shell will completely deflate and collapse. During erection of the tent, the air chamber valve remains open, and the shell's cap over the floor is manually pulled out away from the tent floor causing a vacuum to form in the smaller airtight chamber. Air immediately flows through the valve filling the air chamber, and by closure of this valve the air is trapped. The air cushions the floor to provide a self inflated air mattress. The self-inflating mattress also may be incorporated into a seamed floor in a conventional tent, or it may be used as a stand alone mattress.

    • The present invention relates to an inflatable hall or bag comprising a cover that is anchored in the ground and is under superpressure on the inside. This inflatable hall is provided with a covering made up of two superposed foils, with an air cushion disposed therebetween, which is in communication with the air-filled hall space through the inner foil. The amount of spacing between the two foils can be adjusted by blower means and by changing the permeability of the foil material to air. The temperature of the air inside the hall and inside the space between the two foils can be controlled by heating means and cooling means being connected to the blower means.
