摘要： A random access procedure for use by a UE wireless communication terminal in communicating with a base station (or Node-B or eNB) of a radio access network, and in particular a E-UTRA network. A random access preamble is sent by the UE via RACH separate and prior to a random access message burst, which is sent on SCH but not until the UE receives one or more messages indicating an acknowledgment of the preamble and providing an allocation on SCH for use in transmitting the message burst, and also providing a preamble identifier, which the radio access network can then use to request retransmission of the message burst if necessary.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and system for transmitting data in cellular network, wherein frequency reuse is proposed to be designed adaptive and utilized only only when needed, e.g., with small coding rates. The adaptive reuse can be obtained by using the conventional link adaptation approach. The invention can be easily applied to a Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) system which consists of combination of localized and distributed FDMA. Thereby, better resistance against strong other cell interference can be provided.

摘要： A solution for radio resource allocation in a cellular telecommunication system is provided. According to the invention, the frequency bands of a plurality of cells of the telecommunication system are divided independently into more than one frequency band sub-block. User terminals within the coverage area of each cell are then allocated to the frequency band sub-blocks on the basis of the modulation and coding schemes used by the user terminals. Furthermore, transmission power of the user terminals is controlled on the basis of the allocation of the user terminals in order to improve data throughput.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and system for providing a downlink connection in a cellular network. A feedback information indicating a selected cell is transmitted to a central network element (20) controlling at least two network elements (N1-N3) serving cells (C1-C3) of the cellular network. The at least two network elements are controlled by the central network element based on the feedback information so as to establish the downlink connection. Thus, the downlink transmissions of the non-central network elements (N1-N3) are controlled by the network so as to decrease performance loss due to reception errors of the feedback information. The feedback information may be a temporary ID obtained in a site selection diversity transmission control scheme.
