摘要： A portable radio bridge which allows most two-way radios to be interconnected regardless of the radio's frequency, modulation or encryption scheme to provide radio interoperability at the scene of a multi-jurisdictional emergency. The device channels the audio output from the external speaker jack on one radio to the microphone input jack on another radio. The process used is time division multiplexing. The device is microprocessor controlled and monitors input channels, determines if someone is speaking, and sends the audio to output channels in specified “talk groups”.

摘要： An interconnection structure for interconnecting circuitry on a first conductive layer to circuitry on a second conductive layer is provided. The interconnection structure of the present invention comprises a signal conductor via surrounded by a plurality of ground vias. The plurality of ground vias shield the signal conductor via, thus providing electrical isolation for the conductor via from the rest of the circuitry. One feature of the present invention is that the plurality of ground vias can be modified, adjusting their diameters and their placement relative to the signal conductor via, in order to affect the overall characteristic impedance of the interconnection structure. This feature is useful when propagating high frequency signals between signal traces on different conductive layers of a printed circuit board. In view of the high frequencies used in today's wireless communication systems, the interconnection structure proposed aids in the practical implementation of radio frequency modules by mitigating the effects of impedance discontinuities ordinarily present at signal trace-to-via transition regions.

摘要： An apparatus and method for unloading grain bins. The apparatus (10) comprises an endless conveyor belt (18) supported on a set of rollers. A first section of the supported conveyor belt (18) is adapted for insertion at or near the bottom of a grain bin. A second section is adapted for extension out of the grain bin to an outlet. The conveyor belt (18) is supported in a manner that allows transport of the grain with a minimization of friction, trauma or interaction between the grain to maintain quality of the grain. The speed of the conveyor belt (18) is selected to make for efficient throughput of unloading. Other aspects of the invention include a structure to incline the output end of a conveyor belt (18), support the conveyor belt (18), adapt the conveyor to different sizes, and assist in movement of the conveyor, and ancillary parts to allow selective use of the conveyor relative to the bin.

摘要： Method and apparatus for presenting audio and visual information to an audience by streaming, broadcast, live and recording presentations including a generally planar display screen, a light source directing light towards the display screen, a video camera oriented towards the display screen so as to image a lecturer through the display screen and a filter disposed between the display screen and the video camera. In one embodiment the light source emits light in predominately blue wavelengths and the filter blocks at least 85% of light at approximately the same wavelengths. Visual information may then be beneficially written by a lecturer on the display screen using a fluorescent marker pen. In operation an image output of the video camera is reversed in left-to-right orientation so that visual image information written by a lecturer onto the display screen is reversed from an orientation of this information viewed through the display screen.
