摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely-sealed external-fan-cooled type motor which suppresses the heat generation of its inside rotor bar, and suppresses heat conduction to its bearing portion, and further, which will not cause reduction in the lifetimes of its bearings and grease, and moreover, is ideal as a driving motor for railway vehicles.
SOLUTION: A ventilation fan 9 of the completely-sealed external-fan-cooled type motor has a wing 109a, in a radial form on the side of a bracket 2 of the motor or has a wing 109b, in a radial form on the side of the rotor core of the motor. The external air is taken in the ventilating path of the motor from the opening portion which is opened to the bracket 2 so as to become a cooling wind; and the cooling wind is led to the cooling hole, formed in the outer peripheral portion of a stator core 10 of the motor so as to be discharged to the external; and the motor is constituted so that the inside air which is discharged returns again to its inside via an external heat exchanger 23.

SOLUTION: A casing 111 of the generator motor MG is coupled to a casing 15 of the capacity-type expansion device of a Rankine-cycle device, and a rotor 117 of the generator motor MG is supported to the end of an output shaft 32, extending inside the generator motor casing 111 from the expansion device. By making an internal space of the expansion device casing 15, wherein leakage steam from an inflating chamber of the expansion device exists communicate with the internal space of the generator motor casing 111 via a communication hole 15a, the generator motor MG heated by the heat generation of a coil 124 is cooled by the leakage steam penetrating from the communication hole 15a; and by covering the low-temperature expansion device casing 15 with the high-temperature generator motor casing 111, heat dissipation from the inflating device casing 15 is suppressed to a minimum level, thus improving the efficiency of the expansion device.
