    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single crystal producing method using solvent, capable of depositing and growing homogeneous single crystal from initial stage of crystal growth to the final stage by carrying out control so that growing rate of single crystal becomes constant and provide a producing apparatus using the method. SOLUTION: This single crystal-producing apparatus by solvent evaporation method is equipped with a growing tank 50 for depositing and growing single crystal, a discharge means 30 for discharging solvent vapor 26 of the growing tank 50, a solution tank 54 for evaporating the solvent of the solution, a heating means 90 for heating the solution tank 54, a control valve 60 for carrying out control feeding the solvent vapor of the solution tank 54 to the growing tank 50, a pressure detecting means 70 for detecting vapor pressure in the growing tank 50 and outputting pressure signal, a controller 80 for receiving the pressure signal of the pressure detecting means and controlling the above control valve so that solvent vapor pressure in the growing tank 50 becomes constant and a thermoregulated bath 40 for controlling the growing tank at definite temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a crystallizer capable of minimizing the clearance between a stirring blade and the inner circumference of a draft tube, to improve the circulation flow efficiency of a slurry with the stirring blade and to reduce the power for the rotation of the stirring blade. CONSTITUTION:This crystallizer is provided with a stirring blade 3 rotatably placed in a draft tube 2 vertically supported at the axial center of the crystallizer main body 1. A slurry 4 containing crystal component is evaporated and concentrated under circulation in an evaporation chamber 5 at the upper part of the crystallizer main body 1 by the rotation of the stirring blade 3 to effect the precipitation and growth of crystals. The lower end part 2a of the draft tube 2 surrounding the stirring blade 3 is divided and integrally connected to the bearing 7 of the stirring blade 3 through a guide vane 10. The clearance between the divided lower end part 2a and the stirring blade 3 can be narrowed to the necessary minimum level by integrally connecting the lower end part 2a with the rotary shaft 6 of the stirring blade 3 in aligned state.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a platy single crystal of 2-substd.-4-nitroaniline with high reproducibility by dissolving a specified amt. of urea in a soln. of 2-substd.-4- nitroaniline in a polar solvent when the single crystal is grown by a soln. method. CONSTITUTION:When a soln. of 2-substd.-4-nitroaniline in a polar solvent is prepd. and a single crystal of the nitroaniline is grown in the soln. by evaporating the solvent, urea is dissolved in the soln. by such an amt. that the soln. can not be satd. with urea during the evaporation of the solvent. The solvent may be water or a polar org. solvent but a water-contg. polar org. solvent is preferably used in consideration of the solubility of the nitroaniline and that of urea. The polar org. solvent may be a protic polar solvent such as methanol or ethanol or an aprotic polar solvent such as acetone, acetonitrile, ethyl acetate, dimethylsulfoxide or dimethylformamide.
