    • PURPOSE:To prevent excessive rush current into a heater transformer by providing a flip-flop to output a control signal for controlling ON-OFF of a power source supplying means which supplies power source to a transformer to which a welding means for heat welding and sealing is connected. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor 45 is turned ON, an SSR 23 of a gate circuit 14 becomes conductive between input terminals to turn ON between output terminals of the SSR 23. During a period in which a gate trigger pulse corresponding to a gate trigger signal I is output to a gate terminal of a double- directioned thyrister 1, alternating waveform J of one-cycle unit is impressed between both ends of a primary winding of a heater transformer 2 through the double-directioned thyrister 1. By this, the positive or negative direction of the alternating current waveform at the turn-ON and turn-OFF of the double- directioned thyrister 1 is always determined so as to have reversed polarity constantly. Thus, after heat welding of a resinous sheet and at a start of heating, reversed polarity can be obtained constantly, and therefore, it is prevented that an excessive rush current flows because of a quick magnetic saturation of the heater transformer 2.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve a proper sealing with limited power consumption by direct thermal deposition of a synthetic resin film employing a heat generating body comprising a nichrome ribbon (wire) always maintain at the melting point of a synthetic resin or higher. CONSTITUTION:The nichrome ribbon on nichrome wire 8 is arranged along a heater base 7 made of thermally and electrically insulating material such as asbestos plate with both ends thereof connected to a terminal 9 while the top surface is coated with a teflon tape 10 to form a heater section A. A receiving base section B facing it is composed of a receiving base 11 with a silicone rubber 12 attached to the top surface thereof. The nichrome ribbon or a nichrome wire 8 is adapted to always generate heat up to the melting point of wrapping synthetic resin film 13 or higher. Sealing zone 13a of the film 13 is inserted between the heater section A and the receiving base section B, which is driven to approach each other to push the sealing zone 13a for sealing.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the subject caulking device which can caulk with an improved coupling strength and in an improved appearance, by method wherein a thin sheet- form heater is positioned at an end surface of a support bar, having a cooling unit, through the medium of a heat-resistant electric insulation sheet, and both ends of heater are connected to a sequence control power source. CONSTITUTION:A cooling section 2, in which a great many fins are formed radially, is mounted monolithically at a surrounding of a columnar support rod 1 made of a metal having an improved heat-conductivity, and a heat-resistant insulation sheet 3, such as polyamid resin sheets, glass woven fabrics, is applied to one end of the support rod 1, emerging from the cooling section 2, so that the end surface and an outer circumference of the end portion are covered with said resin. A thin sheet- form heater 4, in which a nichrome ribbon is press-molded, is covered thereon, and both ends are connected to a sequence control power source. Accordingly, a processing temperature can be produced by just electrifying the heater 4 momentarily and can fall rapidly by turning off the electricity thereby, permitting a reliable and good- finishing molding by caulking.
