    • A grain treatment system (10) incorporating a steam vessel (12) and centrally disposed, grain diverting steam sparger unit (90) for facilitating the flow of homogeneous plugs of grain therearound. The system incorporates a discharge unit (18) having garner valves (75, 77) and/or flow restrictors for facilitating the anti-coring grain flow through the steam vessel (12) with side and corner draw-off therein and the even percolation of steam upwardly therethrough for uniformly heating and moisturizing the grain. A vapor generator (15) is used for providing a heating medium comprising a mixture of condensible and non-condensible gases introduced into the grain through the centrally disposed steam sparger (90). In this manner, homogeneous plugs of grain are uniformly passed through and discharged from the grain treatment system permitting controlled heating and moisturizing of grain and substantially eliminating of coring, grain clingage, static sludge build-up and associated grain treatment problems prevalent in the many prior art systems.

    • In order to provide a containing and conditioning system for an agricultural product, such as seeds or grains, which system reduces an amount of energy used upon containing and conditioning the agricultural product and also improves the quality of the agricultural product, there is disclosed a containing and conditioning system for an agricultural product, which may include seeds or grains. The system includes a container for containing the agricultural product, a conditioning device for conditioning the agricultural product, a stirring device for stirring the agricultural product, the stirring device including at least one wireless sensor for sensing characteristics of the agricultural product, which may include humidity and/or a temperature, and a control device operable for controlling said system in response to said characteristics.

    • A mobile system for processing raw ears of corn includes a first mobile processing trailer for receiving raw unhusked ears of corn, holding the ears and disbursing the ears to a first conveyor. The first conveyor transports the ears to a second mobile trailer for further processing. The second mobile trailer includes a husker for removing corn husks and corn silk from the ears, a cutting mechanism for removing kernels from the ears after the husks and silk are removed, and a second conveyor for transporting the corn husks, corn silk, and corn cobs from the second trailer. A third conveyor transports the kernels to a third mobile trailer for further processing. The third mobile trailer includes a cooling tank for chilling the kernels and a conveyor for transporting the kernels to transportation receptacles for transportation to a cannery for further processing.
