摘要： A mass flow fuel injection control system is provided for an internal combustion engine and measures mass and flow velocity of combustion air. The length of fuel injection pulses is determined by formula (I), where PD is the air pressure drop produced by a Venturi (32), PA is absolute air pressure, and T is air temperature. The system directly determines fuel requirements from the air mass flow and automatically self-adjusts and tracks such requirements from engine to engine or with modifications to the engine, without a preprogrammed look-up table according to throttle setting, and eliminates the need for a throttle position sensor.

摘要： An enzyme reactor system is provided based on the entrapment of an enzyme in a hydrogel layer coated on a support, and confined by an ultraporous thin film membrane diffusion barrier. The diffusion barrier confines the enzyme, but lets substrate and reaction products diffuse freely into and out of the hydrogel layer. In an alternate embodiment, the support is formed of an ultraporous thin film membrane diffusion barrier on a microporous or macroporous support, through which the reaction products can diffuse freely, but through which neither enzyme nor substrate can pass. In this embodiment, the product is recovered in high purity, free of substrate and enzyme.

The fin(s) are vertically oriented and extend down into the water surface. The fins are transversely adjustable along the fin base to redirect a wake generated by the boat. In other embodiments, the control system comprises a starboard fin tab adjacent to a port fin tab, each of the independent fin tabs hingeably attached to the aft section of the hull, at the transom. Each fin tab includes at least one extending fin. Fin tabs are selectively deployable and retractable into and out of the water surface to redirect a wake generated by the vessel from one side to the other. A novel underwater exhaust system redirects exhaust depending on speed of the vessel and complements the wake control system.
